Eko Rhythmaker (Italy, 1970) vintage analog drum machine

"The drum machine is fully working and in excellent cosmetical condition for its age.
It has 16 types of rhythms that can be combined (maximum of 2 together at a time):
• March • Fox Trot • Shuffle • Jazz • Swing • Tango • Waltz • Western • Slow Rock • Rock'n Roll • Bossa Nova • Samba • Mambo • Cha-Cha • Beguine • Rumba
The front panel includes 3 controls: Volume, Sustain and Tempo Speed.
The “Sustain” knob is one of the 'mysteries' of all Eko Rhythmakers as it almost never makes any changes. We have sold several Rhythmakers over the years and the “Sustain” has never worked or made any changes to the various sounds.
In fact, if we check the Rhythmaker diagrams and calculate the sustain time, in the best scenario, the result could be a maximum of 0.8 sec, therefore completely imperceptible to human ears. If we then consider the components of the epoch, perhaps it is even less than 0.8 sec. So in none of the Eko Rhythmakers does the “Sustain” knob work because is practically imperceptible.
The 'Selector' section is practically an integrated mixer that allows you to adjust the volume of the individual parts/sounds of the rhythm. Very cool!
On the back there are:
• FOOT SWITCH: Works perfectly with any switch pedal (not included in the sale)
• HIGH IMP OUTPUT
• LOW IMP OUTPUT
Inside the drum machine there are some trimmers: they can modify the sound of the individual instruments (intonation, etc.) to your own taste and liking.
True collector's item: it’s a simple and great drum machine with a very rich sound, especially with a nice tape delay and reverb added.
Eko was the Italian brand that produced many legendary instruments. The Company was based in Recanati (Marche, Italy), in the same area where Elka, Elgam, Farfisa, Crumar, Jen, Siel, Solton, CRB, etc. were born."

sighting rock 1 - ambient jam with the sonicware liven series texture lab and ambient zero
video upload by Matt Webb
"I used the Sonicware Liven Ambient Zero to develop an ambient sequence, which I then ran through the Texture Lab's EFX mode to take advantage of the granular engine. I adjusted grain size and density as well as timing, and made use of the tape echo delay while the sequence was playing. I added some drone notes throughout as it felt necessary. As you can tell from the clipping at the beginning, I did not edit or add any new effects to the audio (which was recorded simultaneously using Audacity)."

292t as a resonant filter | Buchla & Tiptop Audio Tips & Tricks
video upload by Stazma
"Today let's see how we can turn, "patch program" for the Serge heads around here, the 292t into a resonant filter / lowpass gate.
We'll do it using the 207t and 257t to stay inside the TT / Buchla family but I'll also show it with the Goma Pro from Black Noise and the Aranea matrix mixer by Ritual Electronics."
00:00 Intro
01:01 Patch 1 w/ the 207t preamp and 257t
06:26 Voltage controled resonance
08:05 Patch 2: w/ Goma Pro
12:20 Patch 3 w/ Aranea [Matrix Mixer]

VERMONA Mono Lancet ’15/meloDICER: Loop Recording with Ableton Live

00:42 - activating track 2
01:18 - preparing track 3: Pad
01:45 - activating track 3
02:20 - preparing track 4: Percussive Melody
02:49 - activating track 4
03:41 - finished performance
"Here we have a small setup consisting of a Mono Lancet ’15 as the sole sound source, a meloDICER with MEX3 as sequencer and @Ableton Live for Loop recordings.
We prepared four tracks in Live to record various synth parts in a live session. We’re setting up all Mono Lancet ’15 sounds on the fly and continuously change parameters on meloDICER for generating different patterns for each track.
All the effects that you hear come directly from Live (delays with a little bit of reverb). The meloDICER is synced through the MEX3 companion module via MIDI clock to Live.
We recommend the use of headphones or good speakers for the full sound experience"
Instruō - cèis [2] Overview
video upload by Instruō
"The Instruō cèis[2] is a fully analogue voltage controlled ADSR envelope generator. The ADSR function generator is the model pioneered by the East-coast mindset and is extensively used in subtractive synthesis patches. The cèis[2] gives the ability to externally control the attack, decay, sustain, and release stages of the envelope while also emitting trigger and gate signals for each segment, offering maximum versatility from a classic tool.
This version [2] revision brings additional flexibility and control through a completely redesigned logic extraction circuit for the segment gates, envelope re-trigger input, and a precision throughput for voltage controlled slew limiter capabilities.
• LED button for manual control and indication of output CV level
• Fader and CV control over all 4 segments
• Gate output per segment
• Fader LED for segment stage indication
• Gate/Trig modes which can force completion of the Attack duration when triggered
• Hold mode for sustain segment lock for CV slew use
• Combined trigger output which fires when there is a change in segment
• Variable envelope response shape from linear to exponential
