"demo mainly intented to show the Roland CR8000 and Teisco Vocal 120 i'm selling in action.

The Teisco is a nice 5 channel mixing amplifier. It's very nice used as a submixer to add some character and spring reverb to keys and drum machines as you can hear. Simple Treble / Bass EQ that sounds very musical, and a 3 stage gain attenuator that can make the input just slighthly overdriven and compressed to totally smashed. Channels are transistor based, not op amp.
The CR8000 is a classic groovey programmable Roland drum machine, 2 step away from the CR78 and 1 step from the TR808."

PWM Mantis Quick Look

video upload by Starsky Carr

"WASP - OSCAR - MANTIS. From original thoughts of Chris Huggett, PWM and he worked together on his final designs before his untimely death. PWM have realised his vision plus some extras like the ability to play 4 voices (quad paraphonic) on what was originally a duophonic idea. ... I think!

The PWM Mantis is a unique synth .. a bit like a vintage synth being brought to the market in the 21st century. I say almost like a vintage because it does have all the modern features you'd expect."

SERGE Modular INORI // Making chords with Quadslope

video upload by Dexba

"Sometimes it's not about using ALL the patch points, going crazy on the modulations or whatnot.
A simple idea: INORI has 6 oscillators, even 7 if we count the filter, and today I wanted to use the Quadslope as a bank for chords.
What makes it quite lovely is the fact that the 1V/Oct goes only to the two left envelopes of the pairs, so chords are always accompanied by a droning voice.
The second oscillator of the PCO which can act as an LFO is going to the VCF frequency, and I am modulating by hand the frequency of the LFO and the amount of modulation of the filter.
The SQP4+ is criminally underutilized, but acts as a quick control over the chords, with A line going to the first pair of slopes and B going to the second one.
Sound quality is the most important aspect, and ‪@serge-modular‬ never disappoints.
Just a hint of ‪@EventideAudio‬ H90, for some simple (maybe subtle is better?) delay and reverb.
Now I just want to spend more time with this setup 🧡"

Introducing the Phase Engineering LEQ-5 Eurorack Module

video upload by Steve Turner

"You definitely want to listen to the demos through decent speakers or headphones. The bass adjustments wont be clear through frequency limited laptop or phone speakers.

The LEQ-5 is now in production and you can order the LEQ-5 by emailing info@phase.engineering directly.

You can also read my first impressions article on my website blog, https://steveturner.com.au/blog/blog/..."

"The LEQ-5 is the first module by Australian music technology designer, Phase Engineering. I am lucky to have one of six units that exist today, but a formal release will occur in the last half of 2024. Warren, the man behind the brand, is also the lead hardware engineer for Innerclock Systems who makes the fabulous Sync-Gen technology..."

2 Dudes and a CS-80 / Part #1

video upload by HanzVolt

"My friend and I had a rare opportunity to play with the Legendary Yamaha CS-80 for a couple hours... This is part 1 of 3 videos where we are just tinkering around with the beast and hearing how delicious it sounds. Forgive the camera angle. This opportunity was pretty much spur of the moment and this is what it looked like..........✌🏼‪@JMLRecording‬"

Bilma Raspberry Pi Pico Based DIY Drum Module

video upload by Maarten Hofman

"This is my second Eurorack synthesizer. It is notable for being only 4 centimeters deep and solid enough to drop from a meter high and only damage what it falls on, and not itself. The case has room for 78 HP worth of modules. All the current modules are 6 HP, some of them are described in the video. The case itself also offers power (700mA for all voltages), MIDI (1 1v/oct, 4 paraphonic pulse waves, 5 drum channels), a hardware spring reverb (barely fit) and a headphone amplifier that can mix two mono signals.

License for the samples used (and the code for the Raspberry Pi PICO drum module):
https://github.com/cashimor/eurorack/..."

"Bilma is a Raspberry Pi pico based drum module. It features 8 local sets, and 4 sample based sets. It has a dial to select the kit, and a dial to change the output filter, which for some reason has some overdrive. The python file works, but the gerber files and schematic have not been tested.

Original file: https://github.com/todbot/circuitpython-tricks/blob/main/larger-tricks/pidaydrummachine.py

samples from https://freesound.org -- License: Creative Commons 0 samples set 1 from: Trvth (Snare1Drum, PedalHiHat1, Ride1Drum, HiHatOpen1Drum, Bass1Drum, Crash1Drum) samples set 2 from: BaDoink (Drum Kit Pack 1), DigitalUnderglow (drumhit_Clap3) samples set 3 from: RytmenPinnen (SemiLoopDrumsamples), ankealtd (Meinl_Byzance_16_Extra_Dry_Thin_Crash_H_3) samples set 4 from: IanStarGem (Electronic Snare Drum 4, Simple Kick Drum, Electronic Closed Hihat #2, Electronic Snare Drum #3) additional samples from: pomeroyjoshua (Anu Clap 06, HH Op 04)

This is a tested circuit. The PCB and schematic will work as included in this repository. Bugs: Access to the USB connector is a bit cramped after placing the PICO on the board, but it would work with a 90 degree connector.

The 'beat.c' file is for a 16F684 to add a drum sequencer."
