The Roland SVC-350 is similar to the Roland VP-330 with a modernised (for the time) look and graphic EQ section. You can use a synthesiser, drum machine or guitar as the pitch source for the 11 band vocoder. The balanced or line inputs can filter any sound source. It also features a chorus ensemble effect."
"This is more or less an attic find, except the attic has been my teaching office for the last 20 years. This Roland TR-808 seems to have had a pretty easy life between the time it was made in the early 80s and when I bought it in 2002. For second half of its life it's been used maybe a grand total of 10-20 hours: once a year I would bring it in for my big lecture class on EDM and fire it up for a demonstration. It hasn't seen the inside of a studio or been used for a gig in over two decades. So the wear-and-tear on this box has been minimal!"
"I recently repaired and modded a second Powertran Transcendent 2000 analog mono synth, adding a sub oscillator circuit and LFO flashing led.
I made a quick tune to illustrate the groovy side of this synth, which can also sound quite wild and nasty.
Track is made exclusively with the T2000 (well 2 units as a matter of fact) and an Oberheim DX drum machine"
"The PE-2000 (Polyphonic Ensemble S) is a string synthesizer, creating a richer sound than the PE-1000 through the use of three oscillators per note, possibly employing delayed and detuned variations of a single oscillator, and a built-in phaser effect. It includes eight presets, such as organ, brass, chorus, and string sounds, and was utilized by notable artists like Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Hawkwind. #analogsynthesizer #analogsynth #electronicmusic #korgsynth #synthesizer #korgsynthesizer #vintagesynthesizer #stringsynth"
"Flowfal is a system to allow control of Ableton Live using motion from one or more Apple or Android phones or smartwatches. These devices, running the Flowfal App, send data to Ableton Live over a low latency WiFi link.
