"Make Noise is partnering with Lamplight AVL to raffle off a QMMG! This is an incredible opportunity to get this rare signed instrument, all while supporting a radical effort to support and stabilize artists who have been deeply affected by Hurricane Helene.

Raffle tickets are just $10! The more tickets you purchase, the greater your chance at winning this unique instrument! The raffle will run through December 23rd at 5:00 PM ET.

All purchases of raffle tickets will support Lamplight's AVL's fundraising for phase 2 of their Helene Recovery program. Phase 2, Art Remains, will offer grants of up to $20,000 to Asheville area artists, collectives, and organizations. These grants offer foundational, longer term stabilization to “community connectors” that serve as hubs with wide ripple effects. Lamplight AVL is raising $100,000 to support this effort.

Synth Explosion Milano Synth Meet This Sunday, 8 December

"On Sunday 8 December from 2pm to 9pm, we meet in Milan to celebrate Synth Ambrogio.

During the day, Italian producers will exhibit and illustrate their latest creations.

They will be present at this mini synth meeting:

LepLoop, NONO Modular, Jolin, Clatters

The event is officially supported by:

Milano Modular, (community of Milanese pickers)

During the event it will be possible to visit small exhibition tables with the instruments and attend the presentation of the various manufacturers with descriptions of them.

In the afternoon, Giacomo Tombolan will give us a lesson on spring reverb:

Spring reverbs: electro acoustic and demonstrations, we will delve into the history, the mechanical\electroacoustic functioning of spring reverbs with a demonstration on a modular synth.

Around apéritif time, modular live sets will come to life with Andy Morello and Autodafé from MilanoModulare, live sets from LepLoop, NoNo, Jolin and Maple Juice."
