"In this video, we explore the two main changes introduced in the latest 2.00 update of Hermod+ OS :

👉 Internal Modulation – Each track now includes four independent MOD lanes that can be step-sequenced, recorded or generated and routed through the mod matrix. This makes FX automation very powerful and easy to program.

✌️Advanced Data Editing & Randomization – Users can now display, edit, and randomize any type of track data including MOD, Aftertouch, Velocity, and more. Simply hold the STEP button while in STEP mode to access and customize the specific parameter you want to modify.

🖖​ Refined Workflow & Enhanced Flexibility – The update also includes performance improvements, UI refinements, and additional features designed to enhance creative flow and make sequencing more intuitive.

👊​ Added CV IN Detection – (when Hermod+ is recording, the CV IN modulation will be recorded only if a change is detected, in order to save memory space).

1. **Stereo Setup with Percussion Sounds**: Set up dual-channel outputs for A and B, routed to the LPG. Use a 5-step global sequencer to trigger the envelopes, with oscillators 2 and 4 utilizing LFOs to modulate the pitch. This setup will create dynamic, evolving tonal changes for a richer sound experience.

2. **Bass Line Control with 250e**: Use the 250e to control the bass line pitch with oscillator 2 operating in green mode to correspond with oscillator 1. This creates an 8th-octave phaser effect. The B channel is mixed into channel A, while global pitch control is applied for additional flexibility in sound design.

3. **Fifth Interval Oscillator Setup**: Set up two separate A and B channels, each with oscillators tuned to a perfect fifth interval. The output from the fifth interval is routed to channel B and processed through a delay. Envelope control is used to create a legato effect during playback, and a small amount of external reverb is added for depth.

"We talk with David Small from Catalyst audio about the new MIG series of modules. They are based on vacuum tubes from Soviet aircraft The series.includes a VCO, VCF, VCA and mixer than can be used together for a full voice or independently to add a unique sound to a modular patch.
