"If you know what this is, you know the deal. If you don’t, i can just tell you that it is the best of the best modern boutique synthesizers. Ken Macbeth is a genius, and this is a masterpiece.
In excellent condition, but the spring reverb kind of comes and goes. My guess is a loose connection, but I haven’t opened it to check."

"This synth is in excellent condition and perfectly working.
The sound is big, gritty, fatty as you expect from an all analog synth and the filter really scream out loud!!!
Syntar is an analog monophonic synth born to be played with guitar via an hexaphonic pickup. The synth is now converted by Mad Rooster Lab to be played via standard MIDI!!!
It has 2 VCO both are capable of triangle, saw and pulse/square waves. VCO2 is tuned relatively to VCO1 in order to obtain some fat detuning or those classic 5ths and 7ths. Sound is fed though a lowpass VCF (24dB/oct) before reaching the VCA. VCA and VCF have independent envelopes of the atypical ADS variety (no release).
Voltage 220v."

Rob Papen RAW 2 Introduction
video upload by Rob Papen
"Introduction to the virtual synthesizer RAW-2
https://www.robpapen.com/RAW-2.html
Please note that RAW-2 is part of the eXplorer-10 bundle."
"It is time now, to evolve and use more sandpaper and to rub the edges of RAW. So please dust yourself off and welcome a grittier RAW-2!
"At the Dutch Dancefair 2014, DJ Promo (aka producer Sebastian Hoff) and DJ Free-K (aka producer Freek Vergoossen) approached Rob Papen with the idea of a synthesizer that focused more on 'distorted' sounds with an easy-to-use layout. The idea for RAW was born and developed together with creative input by the two producers mentioned above.
Now, after almost 10 years, RAW is a well-established virtual synthesizer and its edgy sound appears in many of today’s Hardcore, Hardstyle, and even used in many other styles of productions!
RAW-2 has two oscillators each with an X/Y field, to distort the waveforms by using Phase Distortion. But that's not all, you can also draw two of your own 'waveforms' and use them as LFO waveforms enabling the creation of unique 'wobble' movements.
RAW-2 now features the ‘Ribbon Controller’ carried over from BIT-2(and other plugins) which allows you to dynamically change the sound with its superb tempo-based spring-back feature.
RAW-2 has all the great Rob Papen filters to shape your sound further, but in a refreshing twist, 'EQ', ‘Waveshaper', 'Distortion' and 'LoFi' have also been added on a per voice synthesis level. Other FX such as Chorus, Phaser, Flanger, Stereo delay and the amazing HQ Reverb of Rob Papen can all be added to your sound, and of course
a Cool 32-step Arpeggiator/Sequencer, and finally the preset bank manager have all been included as standard.
In true Rob Papen style, RAW-2 comes with many great new presets, and the original RAW presets with contributions from several well-known DJs and Producers for instant user inspiration!
Promo, Ophidian, Mad Dog, Deathmachine, D-Passion, Rob Fabrie, DJ Thera, N-Vitral, Tha Playah, DJ Hidden, The Viper, Warface, Stephan Jacobs, Amnesys, and many more..."
Drumkid Eurorack demo (aleatoric/random drum machine)
video upload by Bradshaw Instruments
"Drumkid is a new aleatoric drum machine module from Bradshaw Instruments, a Eurorack version of the original Drumkid from 2020, with lots of upgraded features. Buy it from https://bradshawinstruments.myshopify..."
What does it actually do?
Drumkid is essentially a standard drum machine but with the ability to add (or subtract) hits from a rhythm using probability. Imagine starting with a basic drum beat, then flipping a coin on each beat to decide whether to add an extra snare hit. Drumkid does this, but with fine control over, for instance, how often to flip the coin, which channels the coin flip will apply to, how likely the coin flip is to result in "heads", etc. In practice, this gives you several knobs (and CV input signals) which can affect the flow of randomness in a way that feels intuitive and musical, producing a sort of hybrid between programmed and live drums. It's also possible to push Drumkid outside the realm of human-playable rhythms and into weirder, glitchier beats that operate at high frequencies, creating oscillator-like sounds.

Behringer RD78 // Review and Demo
video upload by Starsky Carr
"Superbly CHEESY The Behringer RD-78 is their take on the classic *Roland CompuRyhtm CR-78*. The CR78 was famous for having user patterns, you could actually save your own! You've heard it on loads of tracks, and as it was originally designed as an organ accompaniment - like all the OG drum machines - its got some wonderfully cheesy rhythms - who doesn't love a Beguine, Foxtrot, Tango or Mambo?"

Behringer TD-3, TD-3-MO, MIDI: 303 Rave Patterns/Sequences
video upload by Anton Anru
"Rave Planet is a collection of 64 patterns for Behringer TD-3 and TD-3-MO (Modded Out). The sequences are also available in MIDI Format.
They are suitable for many genres: Techno, Acid, Hardcore, Rave, Breakbeat, Electro, and others.
🗂 The sequences are organized as follows: each pattern within the group has two variations: A and B.
A contains fewer notes and articulations, making it a great starting point, while B is a more energetic and expressive version of A.
This structure allows you to evolve your bass line from "soft" to "expressive" (or vice versa) with a single click. Of course, you can also modify the sequences in real time while performing or jamming.
📦 Get these patterns in
TD-3 / TD-3-MO format: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/p/td-3...
MIDI format: https://antonanru.sellfy.store/p/midi...
🎹 For MIDI format: import a pattern into your DAW and place it on a MIDI track with any VST synth. The patterns include accents via velocity and legato notes for glides. For proper playback, use monophonic timbres with envelopes and glide set to legato mode.
⚙️ For loading the sequences to your TD-3 use the latest version of SynthTribe app. It’s available on the official Behringer website – TD-3 page – Downloads.
SynthTribe version should be 2.5.7 or higher if you use TD-3-MO."
Cage Playtronica
video upload by Robin Rimbaud-Scanner
"The Playtron MIDI controller from Playtronica gives you the chance to play pretty much anything. Using alligator clips, you can connect up to 16 objects that can conduct electricity. You might have seen videos of people playing plants or fruit for example. However, if you use conductive copper tape you can also attach this to anything you like and still play them as if a musical instruments.
As a huge admirer of the work and writings of American composer John Cage, I thought it would be interesting combine some of my book collection with the definitive sound of his prepared piano, played live on the books themselves. It's certainly not an impressive piece of music here, and know that it sounds more like someone tuning a piano (🤣), but goodness, what fun it is to physically play anything at hand! And you can marvel at how one of the books in particular just wanted to slip away 😀
