OXI ONE + Fender CHROMA POLARIS quick afternoon improv

video upload by CGMAGIK

"Playing around with my Chroma Polaris and OXI ONE sequencer today. Using 2 channels on the Polaris - although, amazingly for a 1984 synthesizer, this synth is 6 part multitimbral. You can run 6 different sounds on different MIDI channels and automate all the parameters on each channel. I think most other synths of that era pretty much only did note-on/note-off!"

mmMidi - Simple Setup & Configuration

video upload by ALM TV

"The mmMidi is a simple & compact MIDI interface for your Eurorack synthesiser. It translates two independent channels of MIDI note, velocity and gate information to corresponding control voltage signals via either a classic MIDI DIN type connection or as a driverless USB MIDI device.

Here we take a look at how to configure the mmMidi's 3 channels for use with a hardware sequencer. This configuration works the same for USB MIDI as well as the original (USB-less) mmMidi.

The mmMidi also converts MIDI Clock to analog x24 fixed clock and run outputs (i.e DIN Sync). The optional mmT expander provides a third MIDI channel of 8 key mapped gate outputs.

Requiring minimal configuration and a pain free set up, the mmMidi makes it easy to sync Pam’s clock to your DAW, control multiple synth voices, and trigger drum or sample modules with the optional mmT expander. The new USB-C connection makes it easy to drive your modular not just from your computer but also via your tablet, phone or any USB MIDI Host."

"Here we take a look at how to configure Pamela's PRO Workout to sync directly with the mmMidi. This setup is the same with the original (USB-less) mmMidi and previous versions of Pamela's Workout."

Syntakt+Trilling ‪@WeAreElektron‬

video upload by Dirk de Bruin

"Very compact setup with a Syntakt and the Trilling prototypes. Syntakt sends clock to the midi clock divider and a chord progression to the quantizer. The quantizer sends two voices of midi melody back into the Syntakt. Trilling modules are now available for pre order on Kickstarter!"

Synth Pop w/ MOOG SIRIN, Prophet-10, OP-1 field | Extremely Huge Supermarket 2025-04-09 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"A piece created using the ‪@MoogSynthesizers‬ MOOG SIRIN, ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10, and ‪@teenageengineering‬ OP-1 field—a synth pop track with an ’80s style built around a simple melody.

The MOOG SIRIN is controlled via MIDI from the DAW, and its output is given reverb using ‪@strymon‬ NIGHTSKY.

On the OP-1 field, I play the drum part, applying gate reverb and saturation through the ‪@ChaseBlissAudio‬ GENERATION LOSS MKII.

The Prophet-10 handles the harmonies, processed with blueSky for reverb.

Additional parts such as the arpeggiator come from the YAMAHA MOTIF RACK ES, also controlled via MIDI from the DAW."
