"This is the 2007 reissue of the Oberheim SEM (Synthesizer Expander Module) with the Patch Panel edition, hand-crafted under the direction of Tom Oberheim himself. A faithful recreation of the original 1974 SEM, this version adds extensive CV patching capabilities, making it perfect for integration into modern modular and analog setups.
- Classic discrete analog circuitry with the unmistakable SEM tone
- Fully patchable: CV/Gate control over every major function
- Designed for modular systems, Eurorack expansion, or standalone use
- Compact, rugged metal housing with vintage aesthetics
This SEM is a favorite for its warm, punchy sound, effortless musicality, and the ability to serve as either a raw tone source or a characterful processor. Perfect for analog purists, modular enthusiasts, or collectors of classic synth gear.
This unit is practically new, never used, in its original box.
I have another identical SEM, also never used, but it's not in its original box. Enquire if you want two of them."

2. 1974 MiniKorg 700s K2, vintage analog synth for sale in Portland, Oregon - Demo 2 MIDI Bach BWV 565
This is Demo 2 (2 of 2 videos) highlighting the sound and character of the 700s / K2 synthesizer in action, and showing the external control of DAW, via MIDI, into a MIDI-to-CV convertor, connected to the CV inputs on the back side of the 700s. The MIDI songs has multiple organ and harpsichord tracks. The MIDI output to the 700s is one of the main tracks for this piece, panned to the RIGHT side of the stereo field, to help discern the 700s sound. The point of this video is to show the capability of DAW control, given all the external hardware interfaces, which comes with the sale of the 700s as one package.
"All items that come with this sale: * 1974 Korg MiniKorg K2 / 700s * Kenton CV Upgrade (adds 3 CV input jacks/sockets on backside of synth) * Kenton Pro Solo Mk2 (MIDI-CV convertor) * Custom Flight Case * USB to 2-channel MIDI convertor box + long USB cable
Demo video # 1: Demo video #2:
This 1974 MiniKorg K2 / 700s works and sounds great. It has the Kenton CV upgrade, a hardshell case, and I’m throwing in a Kenton Pro Solo Mk2 MIDI-to-CV converter, a USB to 2-ch MIDI convertor, long USB cable.
Everything works great and is ready for any modern studio DAW, or adaptation to your external MIDI capable hardware!
The Kenton CV upgrade “3 socket” kit has three 3.5mm ports (easily interfaces with modular synthesis architecture!) or a MIDI-to-CV convertor (which I am including for free with this sale). The 3 inputs are: CV (pitch in), GATE (note on/off), FILT (filter control).
The synth has been with me for about 14 years. I serviced vintage synth and pro-audio gear for the last 30+ years, and this was one that I restored, upgraded, used for recording, and cared for. Every key contact works great, all adjustments have been calibrated, it stays in tune, and every feature works."
"The Arturia Origin is a flagship desktop synthesis workstation, marking Arturia’s transition from software emulations to standalone hardware. Designed as a “modular virtual analog” synthesizer, it employs Arturia’s proprietary TAE (True Analog Emulation) engine, based on powerful DSP chips, to recreate the character of vintage synth hardware in a flexible digital environment.
It's quite a magnum opus of a synthesizer in "spared no expenses" approach to virtual analog emulation. Combine a CS80 filter with an ARP 2600 oscillator? No problem. It's an amazing synth and I am sad to let it go.
This unit has had its power management module (internal) replaced, so it's in great shape and works perfectly.
Comes with power supply and power cable.
It also has wood sides and front "lip", and they are in my storage unit. Cannot guarantee that they are included but I am fairly certain I'll be able to find them for you."
"Clean, excellent-condition and fully-restored Linn LinnDrum, just back from Bruce Forat. I had him add some tasteful (and in my opinion crucial) mods and his MIDI kit, which is the best there is. Here is the rundown on what has been done:
- Full electrolytic recap
- New Dtronics power supply
- All 16 panning sliders replaced
- All 16 volume sliders removed, disassembled, cleaned, & rebuilt
- All buttons disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt
- Sidestick Tuning Mod
- 5 Congas/5 Toms Mod (switchable between 5 of either, middle is stock)
- MUX Tuning Mod (all non-tunable voices can be tuned)
- Forat MIDI
If you’re not familiar with Bruce or his work, he is the best there is when it comes to these machines. His client list is a who’s who of the biggest artists in hip-hop, rap, rock, and pop and his work with these machines is ubiquitous with the biggest hits of the last 45 years."
"This limited edition 25 Voice Micro Q comes from a smoke-free home studio. It is in fine working order and was a great companion to the other Waldorf's. Having the Halloween Edition of the Q keyboard, it makes sense for someone else to love this Micro Q. This one is painted all glossy unlike other Waldorf rack synths, very classy. No rack rash though the faceplate seems to have a slight bend that was probably a factory issue? Never bothered me, never been dropped either. Comes with power supply."
"Vintage (~1980) Oberheim OB-X [8-voice] with Encore MIDI installed!
This has been my personal holy grail analog synth for many years. The deluxe Encore MIDI kit was professionally installed and gives the unit full MIDI in/out/thru capabilities as well as improved OS system and the ability to store 120 factory patches (i.e. OB-Xa). The synth was serviced by a pro tech and working flawlessly until just recently. Currently, there is no audio being sent from the L/R Mono output jacks. The digital processing section appears to be working normally as the knobs and LED switches are still functional (see video demo link). The eight individual voice cards were all calibrated previously and were each in working order."
"This module is an open source general-purpose CV/Gate module based on Arduino nano.
It can be applied to various CV/Gate modules by changing the program.
There are some performance limitations, but it uses general-purpose inexpensive components.

"'A Mutable video should have a hidden easter egg'.
When I made my Elements video [below] I added an 'unlisted' video as an easter egg which was discovered by ~60 people while the original video has over 7K views. Obviously it was so well hidden it was completely overlooked, so now I made it public :)
Nothing special, it's just a bonus performance with Elements 'chord' mode, and Plaits and Rings as external sources. Check out the original Elements video for more info about the external inputs."
"I guess this is a good example focusing on the modules we already have. Elements was introduced 9 years ago on DivKid's channel and Red Means Recording did an excellent panel walkthrough about 3 years ago. It's discontinued since Mutable closed shop 'due to success and different life goals' but Mutable never left the Eurorack landscape. In fact they're still the most adopted, expanded and cloned modules around. I'll be using both Elements and After Later's ATOM in this video, which is a smaller alternative with the exact same firmware.
After nine years, i think it's time for a refreshment because even today in 2025 it's one of the coolest modules ever made, and nothing better came along. I also realized I never made a feature video for it."
