HOW TO FIX Sticky Rubberised Paint issues on a synthesizer

I wonder if these wipes would work.

"Rubberised paint coated many synthesizer knobs, sliders and other components and were widely used in the early parts of 2010 - 2020.

A lot of these parts are degrading and a sticky surface emerges as the chemicals break down.

This video shows a temporary, quick and inexpensive solution to get you going by using talcum powder (baby powder)."

"First test of the restored MOscar synth. It came to me quite dead with a loose MIDI board and a dead -5v rail, along with quite a few weird pots and strange wiring. Anyways I think it's back to normal now with a Tauntek MIDI upgrade as well."
