Remake of Piggy on the Alleykat with an 8580 SID chip installed.

Part of an attempt to make a Commodore 64 flavoured version of the downward spiral. Being the least machine like track on the album i'm hoping it will prove to have been the hardest one to adapt."

I’ve been drawn to vintage gear lately and searching for something to add to the lofi set up. Signal Sounds now have a Pre-owned section and I saw this E-MU piano rack mount synth. I’ve wanted a way of getting a hardware lofi piano vibe and this little E-MU box worked out perfectly.

From 1990, it’s in perfect condition with a mint condition manual. Very basic set up with minimal settings and 15 presets.

This was an experiment to see how to combine the lofi saturation of the 3 Stems with granular delay and reverb of the Etherealizer.

I’m controlling the E-MU with a basic Keystep 32."
