"This particular mini's electronic panel was used in the engineering department to test keyboards and ideas for peripherals and modules.
Keyboard artist of great fame would go through the engineering department to see what sort of "goodies" they were working on.
It was an early build possibly as far back as the Trumansburg, New York era.
It was in the Engineering department when I got there which was the Academy St. era in Williamsville, New York
It has been Professionally cleaned, adjusted and calibrated by one of the premier former Moog Technicians.
Some provenance on this unit:
was in Europe for a time being used by a professional musician.
famous keyboard artists breathed on it and fiddled with the controls when it was at the Academy and Walden St. addresses.
(the keyboard itself is newer and non famous techies and assembly people fiddled with that).
The cabinet is solid walnut and may be from Bob Moog's own walnut.
It has a carefully cut rectangle on the lower left side so techies could "do stuff to the keyboard".
Switch logic for top two mini switches with hand lettered notation:
Osc sync (2 pos) will Sync Osc 2 to Osc 1.
3 pos switch: Sync Osc to Osc 1. Middle pos off
Osc3 reset. When a key is depressed low freq Osc (ie sawtooth) will returm to 0.
3 position slider on bottom left of front panel is press on lettered "Mod RTNG". It stands for moulation routing. In the middle position it is normal and the functions are controlled by the orange rocker switch. To the far right the modulation wheel affects Osc 1. To the far left the wheel affects Osc.2."

Minibrute Monotonous Improvisation
Published on Dec 27, 2012 by Dovinia
"Quite by chance a Minibrute ended up on my desk the other day. I wasn't really going to order this synth but when one turned up for sale I couldn't resist the temptation to try it out - if only to see if it can do other sounds than the ones that have so far been presented in various reviews. I think I quite like it."

hexinverter.net vcNOIZ Voltage Controlled Noise Oscillator Demo #2
Published on Dec 27, 2012 by hexinverterDOTnet
"vcNOIZ is a voltage controller noise oscillator for analogue modular synthesis. It is capable of generating white noise just like any other noise module, but also features voltage control of the noise pitch and sub-octave outputs which add their own character tone to the noise. The circuitry is entirely analog and uses no microcontrollers. It is a DIY (do it yourself) project as well as a complete assembled eurorack module.
In this demo, I ramble on and on about vcNOIZ, what you can do with it, then I demonstrate a few of the most prominent uses for it by generating pure white noise and then some percussive elements from it as well.
More demo videos to come :)
