Where Modulation Connects

FAC Polyflo is an AUv3 plugin for modulating and sequencing MIDI instruments and modular gear via control voltage. It outputs MIDI and analog CV simultaneously, making it well-suited for hybrid setups that combine digital and analog equipment.

The plugin includes two LFO generators offering 10 waveforms, including classic shapes and random spline, with support for cross-modulation and syncing. It also features an envelope follower that tracks audio FX input or an external sidechain. The generated signals, together with the host clock and MIDI input, are fed into six independent FLO(W) processors.

These processors combine, shape, and route inputs using math operations, conditional logic, and comparators. Each FLO includes individual polarity, division, and multiplication controls, providing deep and flexible modulation that balances chaotic creativity with precise timing.

Each FLO processor output is connected to its own output bus, enabling easy integration with hardware via DC-coupled audio interfaces like the Expert Sleepers ES-9. For simpler setups, FLO outputs can be routed to the stereo output. FAC Polyflo can also convert MIDI notes, pitch, and control changes into control voltages, making it a powerful MIDI-to-CV solution.

If you prefer to work exclusively with software, the plugin runs smoothly in software-only environments with full MIDI support, making it equally suited for purely digital workflows.

FAC Polyflo works as both an Audio Unit FX and MIDI FX, featuring a clean, touch-optimized interface with precise control and waveform visualization. It’s available as an AUv3 for iOS (iPad/iPhone), macOS, and Vision Pro, and requires a compatible AUv3 host app to run.

Roland Juno-106 Synthesizer - That Juno Sound (no talking)

video upload by gstormelectro

"Audio + Video by G-Storm Electro c. 2025

Today I'm auditioning some of my original patches the Roland Juno-106. I just love the 106 for those plucky arps, sweepy portamento pads, classic chorus circuit, weird resonance chops, and not forgetting those basses. The range of sounds inside the simple architecture is littered with sweet spots. I've lovingly crafted a bank of patches to harness these attributes, now these patches are available at https://gstormelectro.gumroad.com

Audio recorded direct to iPhone via Roland GO:Mixer Pro-X via Soundcraft EPM6 Mixer. No additional effects or processing were used."

You can find a demo of this actual unit previously posted here.

"Quite uncommon analog string synth/piano here. It’s the Univox branded version of the original Crumar Multiman (pre-S model).

Great brass sound with adjustable ADSR/filter, piano, clav, violin, cello. All sounds can be individually volume adjusted and split on one or both sides of the keyboard.

DISCLOSURE: I sold this once, and purchaser decided they didn’t like it, said they thought volume levels of some settings were uneven. They shipped it back loose in a box with no packing and it had a hard ride. High F key was broken off, several slider knobs were crushed and switches dislodged. Switches and keys have since been fixed (bottom of key has a chip out of it, and slider knobs are unobtainable). It sounds good, exactly like the attached video. It’s an unrestored vintage string synth that will arrive exactly like you hear and see in pictures, no more or less."

"Released in 1978, the SH-1 is a compact analog synthesizer from Roland’s innovative SH series, which spawned numerous classics. It was the first SH model to adopt a visually intuitive slider-based control layout that makes sound creation straightforward.

The SH-1 provides 32 keys, a single VCO plus a Sub Oscillator that can be switched to output 1 or 2 octaves below. The VCF offers cutoff and resonance along with an additional HPF (high-pass filter). For envelopes, it features a standard ADSR and a simple AR generator as well.

Connectivity includes CV/Gate In/Out, external audio input, and trigger input, making it easy to integrate with other systems. With the VCO plus Sub Oscillator, the SH-1 delivers the model’s characteristic thick, punchy monophonic sound.

Operation has been checked and confirmed."
