"The Alesis Andromeda A6 has always been one of my dream synthesizers — unfortunately, it was expensive when it was released, and it's definitely not getting any cheaper today!

I did get the chance to spend some time with a real Andromeda many years ago, when a friend and I produced a demo CD featuring some of its sounds. I still remember being seriously impressed by that huge, complex analog machine.

AIR Music Tech Fabric Vintage Andromeda brings the character of the Alesis Andromeda A6 into the Fabric environment using AIR's advanced multi-sample synthesis engine. It features two main multi-sample oscillators, a virtual analog sub oscillator, noise generator, extensive modulation, envelopes, arpeggiator and a comprehensive effects section.

In this No Talking demo, I'll simply play through a selection of presets and sounds so you can hear what Fabric Vintage Andromeda can do without interruptions.

My newest live set, first performed in Beijing, using an Abhar, OpenTheremin, and several other modular synthesizers. The performance took place in a small room tucked away in one of Beijing’s hutongs, filled with all kinds of interesting objects and instruments, including a drum kit and cymbals. In the middle section of the set, I tried to explore different frequencies and resonances, searching for ways to make the room itself vibrate (and perhaps even summon a few ghosts from the hutong lol)
After the performance, some audience told me they could feel a strong physical energy and vibration from the back of the room. So maybe the room really was responding."

"Here’s some shredness—which, apparently, works best at slower tempos.

I absolutely LOVE this factory sound on the Waldorf Quantum MK II. This :90 romp features some crazy pitch-wheel work, polyphonic aftertouch, and my (patented 😂) hand-over-hand technique.

As ever, the backing track was created entirely by me (no AI BS) and the solo was played LIVE, in one continuous take, for the cameras. No edits. No assembling the 'best bits.' Just playing... Enjoy. M"
