"Minimal ambient music built from evolving minimal phrases and synthesizer performances.

This piece was created with the Prophet-10, OP-1 field, and MS-20.

On the Prophet-10, synth pads are performed through the blueSky with reverb.

On the OP-1 field, phrases are played and gradually varied using the ENDLESS sequencer. The MOOD MKII layers micro loop effects over the sound.

Toward the end, a sustained MS-20 tone processed through the MICROCOSM reverb is layered into the piece while the filter cutoff on the Prophet-10 is gradually opened."

"Traveler meets Liminal Space 2 RC5, and things are getting gloriously spacious! Your old pal Keith is pairing KeySolutions Sounds' beautiful new synthesizer VST3 plugin with his haunted digital reverb synth for Blade Runner pads, supersaw bells, enormous churches, and a sitar that's somehow MORE SITAR. So grab your mod wheel, pack a spare delay line, and get ready for a REVERBS-A-GO-GO episode of your favorite talky synthesizer content show!

First, we dig into Traveler: its three different oscillators, gorgeous filters, gain staging, and what happens when you feed it KRC Mathwaves. There are a few Windows wavetable-import quirks to discuss. Naturally, I have opinions.

Then it's on to Liminal Space 2 RC5: new Bricasti M7-inspired algorithm banks evolved from impulse-response measurements, new Micro Pitch and Legacy Enhanced pitch shift modes, and the new Scattering diffusion mode. We compare the Bricasti-inspired "West Church" algorithm against its source IR, explore dark rooms with blooming stereo tails, and put piano, drums, and sitar into some wonderfully unreasonable spaces. There's even a Big Ass Spring. Woot!

Versions shown: Traveler 1.0.9 on Windows and Liminal Space 2 RC5. I purchased Traveler myself. Liminal Space 2 is my own plugin.

1980 EDP Gnat Special SN 00075 in Mahogany Wood w/ Original Box

"EDP / Wasp Synthesizers Gnat Special. Iconic, rare British monosynth.

This synth is super rare. There were only about 100 made circa 1980/81.

This one is serial number 0075, made of beautiful solid mahogany wood.

Comes in original matching serial numbered box!

Condition is immaculate like new, you will never find one like this.

Fully tested recently and fully working With excellent analogue sound.

The link socket works too so it can be triggered by an appropriate midi interface. It's like a small version of the more famous Wasp and has a single oscillator with analogue filter. It is fat as you like and makes big gorgeous bass noises and all sorts of other stuff besides. The "enhance" setting (some kind of PWM ) makes it sound bigger than the Wasp. It has a lowpass resonant filter, an envelope with attack and decay controls and an LFO which can modulate the pitch or filter. It has a black and gold touch-sensitive keyboard. This is the Special so there's no built in speaker, just a single mono 1/4" output. These normally had a very slight audio leakage at certain settings."
