Please welcome to FR3TZ ! String Harmonics meet Euclidean Beats... in a Granular Cloud.

FR3TZ is a self sequenced instrument which offers to play chromatically a full set of guitar harmonics samples, with the power of granular synthesis and a suite of 6 effects.
The 3 track-mono-step sequencer can be programmed in a similar way as an Euclidean rhythm generator.

FR3TZ is an unconventional piece of instrument for creating generative patterns both melodical and rhythmical, the whole being encapsulated inside a modern user interface, inspired by « Material Design », which reinforces the user experience.
This instrument can produce amazing mechanical or non linear melodic patterns but also percussive beats and generative soundscapes. 177 snapshots have been crafted to illustrate the kind of unstable loops and unusual phrases that can be created with it.

FR3TZ also explores the random concept again, in order to provide some humanized effects on your note patterns. The sequencer is coupled with a note selector (a 1 octave virtual keyboard. This selector allows to choose which sound of the map will be aleatory launched on any incoming gate events.

Travel over the waveform with the mouse to obtain glitchy effects.. Combine the 6 effects (Pitchshifter, Filter, Distortion, Delay, Chorus, Reverb) in order to sculpt the shapes of your tones.. Inject some crazy movement on the master mix with Binaural/Doppler effect... This extensive set of features combined between each other, provides a unique recipe for designing sounds.

FR3TZ, even more than a sound bank or a virtual instrument, is a real physical sonic palette.
You will discover how surprising it can be to use string harmonics as an oscillation source, transform them as an atonal percussive element. Thanks to granular synthesis, experiment how to sound big with the infinitely small.

THE CONCEPT

String harmonics have a particular sound rendering and easily provide one of the most mysterious and subtle sonic mental images when they are punctually used in a guitarist performance. Obtained with a slight pressure on the strings with the tip of the finger raised above the frets, the harmonics deliver one of the most fascinating sounds that can be extracted from a guitar.

Blinksonic° Releases Free PROCESSORZ° v2 - FX Periodic Table for Reaktor 6

After months of collaboration, 50 exchanged mails, lots of experimentations, Sandy Small and I, are really proud to present this new contribution to the Reaktor User Library.

PROCESSORZ° is a cool combination of 25 colorful effects which can be played in real time as an instruments via a Midi keyboard.

Remix, smash and twist your tracks in real time. Add glitch movements and make your mix scream.

All effects can be launch instantly or in locked position.

Originally taken from Blinksonic° SUBSTANZ° Groovebox, PROCESSORZ° is a classic remix concept transposed here in the Blocks framework.

This new version brings compatibility for triggering the effects via incoming CV/Gate inside a Block patch.
All the structure and effects have been rebuild in Core by Sandy which brings a complete optimisation with the Block framework. The GUI have also been reshaped.

Each effects have 2 basics calibrated parameters which can be controled via the A/B modulations from any devices or sources available inside your block.

To get a bonus of expressivity, this modulation events can be turned on and off via MIDI, the same way you press on effects buttons. Instant twickling !!

A switch is available if you want to use the Pitchbend and the Modwheel of your keyboard to control the modulation of each effect parameters.

PROCESSORZ° can be plugged to 4 different stereo sources inside your block.

The effect dose of each tracks can be set with the 4 sends control knobs.

These knobs can also receive A/B modulations.

Also a new feature in this version, we made the choice to choose from 3 different routings of the signal path :
- Parallel,
- Serial,
- an experimental one which is both Parallel/Serial for creating highly exaggerated processed signal.

PROCESSORS also works pretty well as a plugin effect inside your DAW (Ableton Live, Maschine, Logic).

We want it hybrid, means, compatible with Blocks but playable as an external VST or AudioUnit.

A special ensemble version comes in the package with a pre-mounted block with 2 LFO blocks (from ROUNDS) and PROCESSORZ wired to 8 inputs and the main output.

You can choose between 3 panel sets :
- « Default » with only the block Processorz visible,
- « Edit Modulation » that shows the PROCESSORZ and the 2 LFO Blocks,
- « Small View » with a minimal view of the block.

I also add some features for the lucky owners of NKS controllers. Mainly all the parameters are mapped and light guide is set following the effect colors on Komplete Kontrol keyboards. Basically, it’s fully NKS ready.

PROCESSORZ° is as minimalist as powerful for adding some vibrant audio events and changing dimension of any sounds. Many combinations are possible with this kind of FX periodic table.

The ice on the cake, PROCESSORZ° comes with 117 snapshots created by renown sound designer as Richard Devine, Alex Retsis, Paul Peanuts, Matt Subjex and Sylvain Stoppani.

I am delighted to confirm that all BLINKSONIC° instruments are now formated to be compatible with the free REAKTOR PLAYER.
They can be opened either in standalone or as a VST/AU/AAX plug-in within your favorite DAW. 
This, with no extra cost, because for now it’s not necessary to have a full license of Reaktor 6 to run RUIDOZ°, AETØNZ°, SUBSTANZ° and VOZ°.

Note : This update is free for existing users.

"A new version of SUBSTANZ° is available for download and free for registered users.

Some really nice improvements here, and aswell, a little tweak of the interface.

Here the change log :

The Mixer and Send Effect command routing has been revised,
All “Decay” knobs have been recalibrated. The values are more accurate,
In random mode, sample selectors knobs indicate the value of the sample triggered in real time,
Addition of a “solo” button on each tracks, for momentary cut of the related track,
The Global Pitch acts now downstream of all the other pitch parameters (pitch per track and pitch step sequencer)
Improved GUI for FX Processorz. To access the parameters of each effect just click on the “Momentary” button. To apply the effect, click the toggle button now represented by the effect symbol. (Similar to the Block PROCESSORZ ° available in the RUL)
All the snapshots have been reorganized and partially renamed.
Addition of 20 new kits, for a total of 80 additional raw files.
A new bank with 33 new snapshots.

VOZ° is a new sampling concept based on vocal formants.
This ensemble for Reaktor 6 resynthesizes a real singer voice from a list of vocal articulation samples that can be sketched into multi layer singing parts and played chromatically trough a powerfull 4 voice sampler and a suit of 10 effects.

From mutant choirs, backing vocals, rising screams, funky hits, experimental sound fx, to playable vocal parts...
VOZ° explores various aspects on how vocal sound material can be operated in a virtual instrument and allows to inject a dose of human soul in modern electronic composition.


VOZ° comes with a collection of 1520 basic waveforms including elements of speaking, screaming, whispering, breathing, yelling, laughing, growling, throating... All kind of vowels, phonetics, accents and onomatopoeias… Even whole words and piece of phrases ready to be used as sources of oscillation that can be launched with in predefined random order.

"A new arrival in Reaktor ensembles provider, Blinksonic offers affordable and inspirational audio contents with cool graphic interfaces.

2 new virtual instruments for Reaktor are just out : Ruidoz V2 & Aetønz.

RUIDOZ V.2 is a beat generator based on the randomization of samples events. This sound design instrument can create rhythmical sequences, percussion lines and a wide variety of sound textures. It's also a collection of 340 micro samples (pieces of electric charges, of liquid flows, of wood and metallic impacts ). RUIDOZ is organized with a step sequencer that triggers one sound on every gate events. Nothing new here, apart that when the random mode is enable, this process creates an interesting flux of sample changes. All is ready for producing original glitchy beats, noisy percussions rhythms and either soundscapes, HUD sounds, semi harmonic phrases and mechanical riffs.

AETØNZ, a virtual sampler synth for playing poly harmonic textures. This hybrid sampler is a collection of 114 tones of various electronic and acoustic instruments. AETØNZ lets you create new keyboard sets with subliminal background textures. These back layer sounds are generated randomly on every notes and can produce fascinating soundscapes and experimental timbres. As a good source of inspiration, AETØNZ comes with more than 200 snapshots on which you can improvise in realtime and invent surprising polytonals chords. Play further notes in scale, you get random combination of textures that stay in tune. The sound is moving .. but the harmony is still. Sometime it sounds weird, sometime it generates rich atmospheres .. you will always get something different.
