Got MIDI gear and Roland DINSYNC kit?
Or need a device that outputs multiple clock rates?
Then this device will help.
Also has a built in MIDI Thru, to pass incoming MIDI data to other synths / modules

What does it do?
It outputs standard 24PPQN and start/stop signals. Has MIDI IN, OUT and DINSYNC OUT
Also pads for 1,2,4,8 and 48 PPQN (used on some old Korg drum machines)

How is it powered?
Comes with 2.1 to USB lead included to power from USB source (0.75m L)
Can also use pretty much any 5-7v DC 'wallwart' type power transformer. With a 2.1 mm female plug. Positive on the Tip of the plug.
Please note...There is no power adapter supplied as standard with this unit.

"This little analogue drum machine was realised by the Italian company Soundmaster in the early 80's

This example was purchased on eBay for around £25 in dodgy condition and operation unknown.

Bodges galore and lack of a service schematic make repairing this machine a bit of a nightmare.

I think the bodges are factory fitted as they use the same kind of enameled resistor as the main PCB.

Built in or around 1983 at Elektroizmeritel planet of Zhitomir, this synth is roughly a Minimoog clone, although in reality it has a different character, being more raw and rough.

I install a clock sync socket and get the machine running with the MINDBURNER MIDI to DINSYNC unit.

I also swap the buzzy 110v Japanese transformer for a new 240v UK model

ROLAND JUNO 6 - LFO TRIG BUTTON REPAIR AND BASIC CALIBRATION

"This Roland Juno 6 was mostly working well but had a small but annoying problem in that the LFO Trig button was not working.

Power supply capacitors were changed and the machine calibrated.
Some other small issues corrected.
Apologies for the tedious trimming shenanigans.

"I look at the inside the unit and installing a replacement 16x1 backlit LCD display. Final job has wires neatly tie wrapped and insulated with shrink wrap.

Backup battery seemed fine, but swapped it out anyway as a precaution.

I used some autosol metal polish to clean up the LCD display cover and case.

"PCB designed by the Old Crow. This excellent minimoog based synth is a very cool operator. Very faithful replication of the original model E. Lovely bass and nice leads. I built the PCB into my own case and designed panels. It also has a sequencer included. I was going to add a RAT distortion and space echo but basically ran out of internal space."
