The Behringer 2600 On The Hans Zimmer Live Tour - With Pedro Eustache

video upload by Behringer

Looks like two TiNRS Fenix systems in the background.

"Dan recently headed to London's O2 Arena to interview Wind Synthesist and Composer Pedro Eustache, currently on tour with the legendary composer, Hans Zimmer.

Pedro takes us through the Behringer products (2600, BD440, UMC1820) he uses in his setup and how they all play a massive part in not only the Hans Zimmer Live concerts but also in many scores, including the Oscar-winning score for 'DUNE'.

As a Wind Synthesist, Pedro shows how expressive and versatile the 2600 can be when controlled via his Lyricon wind controller.

Later in the interview, we also meet Juan Garcia-Herreros (The Snow Owl) who in 2019, won Best Bass Player in the World. Juan also discusses how Behringer products continue to play a big part in his professional musical career.

The Fenix IV is a 330 patch point 110 knob/control synth with an absolute tonne of options for sound sources, FX, controls, modulation etc. In the video Stijn takes us through the new synth which is no small effort!"

This Is Not Rocket Science Introduces ARDABIL + SWITCH at SUPERBOOTH

via TiNRS

"This Superbooth we can announce two new TiNRS eurorack modules:

ARDABIL and SWITCH – both are interesting utility modules that will enhance any system.

Ardabil

ARDABIL is a block of connections which you can weave your signal through

this modules has precision adders, attenuverters, offsets, (inverted) buffered multiple outputs and VCAs that are all connected

Switch

SWITCH is a delightful little module that adds a layer of choice to your system

it has three choices on two paths, times two

that you control with supersatisfying clonky switches

Coming soon!

We are at the golden prototype stage with these modules
(meaning these are the ones we are going to produce)
and we hope to do the run later this year and have them available to you in December.

The ARDABIL will be EUR 200 and the SWITCH will only be available as a set with the ARDABIL for EUR 250
Coming to your favourite synth stores and our online shop

Details on each:

ARDABIL
utility module
Our Ardabil shows you the thread of your signal in one integrated design.
The overall pattern is composed of six functional elements in rotational symmetry. The basic design is relatively simple and the elements are well-balanced. Visual richness is added with contrasting background colours in the Danzer filler pattern and multiple large yellow knobs.

Precision adder
Your thread starts with two CV inputs that add together without changing their scaling.
Attenuverter
You can plug in any CV and let the knob scale your CV up or down -1 to +1 before it is added to your thread.
Offset
With this knob you can add a fixed -5V to +5V to your woven signal.
Buffered multiple outputs
Threads into three buffered outputs; one of which has an LED that lights up when there is a positive signal. The fourth jack is a buffered inverted output with a LED that lights up when there is a positive signal (which is a negative signal in the other three outputs).
VCA
The CV input controls the volume of the audio input into the output. The CV input defaults to the signal from a buffered output.

The entire thread runs:
Buffered Outputs = Precision adder + Attenuverter + Offset
Inverted Output = Buffered Output * -1
VCA Output = Audio * CV

Ardabil has second thread running independently upside down alongside it.

AVAILABLE DECEMBER 2021
Sales price 200 EUR incl. taxes
comes with 5 rocket patch cables.
Combo with our Switch sales price 250 EUR

Switch Utility module

Choices, choices, choices…

Two independent dual gang switches with three positions that add a layer of choice to your system. A double double on-on-on.

You can patch up to six things and select two at a time. Twice.
Every switch selects one out of three signal paths for both paths.

This Switch module is completely passive and will have no effect on the signal you run through it.

Very satisfactory clonk-clonk-clonk Alpha lever switch we also used on our Fenix IV.

RELEASE DECEMBER 2021
only available as a set with our ARDABIL for 250 EUR

"The unit sounds amazing and has extraordinary capabilities to match. There are some small cosmetic blemishes above the low pass gate, filter, and noise module sections (can't always be seen except in certain light) as well as the barrel edge of the headphone jack, so I took extra close ups of these areas for your inspection. These are cosmetic only, functionality is 100%! The unit comes with the optional bamboo stands, double count pack of TiNRS custom cables, soft carry case, pin, cable ties, power supply, manual, and 19" rack rails.

A couple features that stood out to me on this unit, besides its pleasing warm sound, are the digital system behind the scenes that allow for highly programmable midi to CV conversion for associated jacks as well as system synchronized triggering, at divisions or multiplications of the system clock, including customizable time signatures for easy made polyrhythms. Also, behind the scenes, there are 3 separate quantizers - one for the digital osc, one for digital filter, and one for the sequencer. And they're as easy to use as just selecting which keys in an octave you want enabled individually for each one. This really allows one to use its extensive modulation capabilities to affect those modules in ways the user can shape to be very melodically pleasing, if desired. And speaking of modulation, the wobbler lfo has many exotic shapes and behaviors, and offers two outputs of itself, one of which has cv controllable phase shift from the other. And finally, the triple lfo was also a favorite due to having two phase cv able copies of itself for shifting synced modulations."
