In this demo you can hear the mighty analog synths: Moog minimoog ( 1973 ), Korg MS10, Yamaha CS10 and Roland SH2.
More recent are the Roland U220 and Yamaha FB01 midi modules. The newbies are the Arp Odissey ( Korg ) and Arturia Microbrute. The modulars are Pittsburgh Modular and Doepfer Dark Energy along with the Dark Time.
Rhythm provided by the Akai Rhythm Wolf.
Everything is played live. No prerecording, post editing or mixing."

Pearl Drum-X: a Simmons Drums contender

Valmont

"A true gem of forgotten electronic machines!
Totally analog, with digital memories, this japanese Pearl Drum-X had serious potential for successful sales... But came too late on the market!
The first models were released in 1987, a year where PCM drums appeared and made those fantastic analog things completly old-fashionned.
Anyway, not many were built, and no one seems to know about this lil happy box. Working units can be found for almost nothing, got mine for a hundred bucks, but the 'edit' buttons are broken. Tried to fix that but now my unit doesn't start anymore... Gotta repair this one, as well as so many other machines now. Soon I'll do a noice jam with my soviet Lel UDS, RMIF Elsita, the 808 and this cool Pearl! :D

The Peal Drum-X has a huge variety of sounds, from 909-like toms to typical simmons snares or weird cowbell tones.
Later models had MIDI, this one doesn't. But not a problem when you have multi-trigger drum machines! (Such as the Roland R8)
It has 5 outputs, plus a mixed one, and the box can be screwed in a rack (Only 2U), so it's definitely a great studio machine, as well as for live gigs thanks the quick patch recall buttons."

Amazing USSR Analog Drums: RMIF Elsita

Published on Sep 12, 2019 [ጠσσǥǥሃ]

"Sounds like a Simmons Drums for 10x less money :D
Straight from USSR, the RMIF Elsita is a 4 chanels analog drum rack.
It can be triggered with external sources... Like separated-outputs drums 8)"

"The Elsita is a soviet analog machine produced from 1989 until 1991, when RMIF went bankrupt. Although being released in a pretty late period, the Elsita was built following old standards from the mid 70’s/early 80’s : fully analog (as you can see on the picture), trigger-only, with big knobs.

The Elsita has 4 channels, which are not perfectly identical, at least on my model. It sounds more like a A/B/A/B disposition (As the colors suggest actually), but they all have the same parameters. Check the oscilloscope snapshot at the back of the page!

With the emulation I added a folder containing various sounds I made with the original machine, so that you can play with original sounds, or with more versatile, clean sounds from my VST :)"

Analogue Vintage synthesizers live demo 6

Published on Nov 18, 2018 Synthe_64

"In this demo I use the following vintage synthesizers: Minimoog Model D ( 1973 ), Korg Polysix and Korg MS10, furthermore the Roland VP330+ Vocoder, the Roland SH2 and the Roland organ/strings RS09. The modulars are : Pittsburgh, Doepfer Darktime, Doepfer Dark Energy and Trouby Masterclock. For the bass part I use the ARP odissey together with a Yamaha Midi Keyboard and a Boss FC200 pedal. Rhythm is composed by the RMIF Elsita drumsynthesizer and the Korg Monotribe. Finally I use the Arturia Keystep to play the Arturia Micro Brute sequencer. Some additional FX is done by Alesis microverb, the Roland SE03 and the EHX small Stone. I also use the Boss RC1 and Ditto looper. Mixing is done by 2 Behringers 1202FX. Everything is connected via CV and Gate. I only use midi to play the ARP Odissey via the Boss pedal and Yamaha midi keyboard. No pre recording ( except for the looper pedals ;-) )"
