"Let me celebrate the new year with a classic of the one synth challenges of this channel. The undisputed heavy-weight champion Moog Minitaur multi tracked several times to create a hopefully pleasant ambient track.

FX are as usual delays and reverbs added in Cubase.

This is also the first video in my new very shiny studio :)

"Rings goes into Chronoblob 2 for some nice atmospheric delayed notes.
I'm using Pamela's very slow square wave modulation to change the frequency of Rings' plucks and another LFO to raise the blend of Clouds for an extra layer of sound.
Marbles receives the clock from Pamela and provides the notes to Rings."

Sometimes it's very intuitive other times I feel I need to read the manual even for simple operations, but overall I find it fun to use."

"I finally got the mighty Moog quartet and this is my first sort of techno/trance jam with all of them.

DFAM - kick
first Mother-32 - bass
second Mother-32 - melodic line
Subharmonicon- its polyrhythmic stuff

All moogs summed into their mixer that comes with the Moog studio kit and the summed track into Beads and to DAW.

Since I've recorded a big mono track, I've applied a stereo delay and reverb in Cubase to mid and hi freq only, to leave the kick mostly untouched."

Eurorack: Malekko Richter Anti-Oscillator into Xaoc Devices Belgrad + ModBase 09 Mk2

"I've got a few new juicy modules today, so I've set up a little jam with all of them. The Jomox ModBase 09 Mk2 is the kick, the Anti-Oscillator is the bass which goes to Belgrad filter and to TipTop VCA. A first envelope goes to Belgrad and a second envelope from O_c goes to the VCA creating the fake sidechain for a nice pumping and separation between kick and bass.
M-32 is the synth lead and Rings the percussive part.

Eurorack: Rings into Beads = 2x Rings

"Turning Mutable Instruments Beads into a second Rings.
Patch info in the video.
I recently got Beads and realized that If we store a note by Rings into Beads buffer, we can play it by triggering the Seed and sending CV to Pitch.
With the mix blend knob we can control the volume relationship between Rings and frozen Rings and play them at the same time with different notes.
Selecting different Rings modes for the dry and frozen versions, sending noises into Rings audio input and setting up different pitch intervals will spice up the patch."
