Clarity RETRO polyphonic MIDI - to -CV converter
No title link. Three shots via this auction. Not much as far as details (note the Clarion typo):
"here we have a CLARION RETRO, a polyphonic MIDI-to-CV converter that also acts as 4 seperate LFO with variable waveforms if needed :)
i used this unit with my modular for the past 4 years with NO complaints. the buttons function smoothly with no resistance or double triggering. the input and outputs are all dust free and connect firmly. since i recently sold me modular i now have no need to take this with me so i'm hoping it can go to a good home."

ROLAND MC-8 MICROCOMPOSER ANALOG SEQUENCER
Title link takes you to an article on Sound on Sound. This image and the details below were pulled from this auction.
"INFORMATION > The Roland MC-8 MicroComposer was introduced in 1977 at a price of around $8000 as the world's first digital microprocessor driven, VC (Voltage Control) unit, (a pre-MIDI sequencing method used for electronic music). The MicroComposer could precisely adjust multiple sound producing and effects elements of a synthesizer, such as the VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator), the VCF (Voltage-controlled filter), and other voltage controlled components very rapidly, which is nearly impossible to do manually by a performer. The MC-8 was designed to work with the large complex modular synthesizers such as the Roland System 100 and System 700. It could also be used during a live performance to control lighting by using pre-programmed, timed pulses, and pre-programmed timed voltage levels."

JESSICA RYLAN
Nov 18 9pm 6ODUM
Something new from JR … synthesizer blurpage and campfire vocals … mysteries nested like Russian dolls … homemade and heart-wrenching. Masters of the Ellipsis, we are.
Rylan (b. 1974, London) is a sound artist and electronic musician who lives and works in the Boston area. She builds analog synthesizers, which she uses for sound installations at galleries (LIST Visual Art Center at MIT, the Boston Center for the Arts, Bard College) and also in her high energy musical performances. Her recordings are available on RRRecords and Ultra Eczema, as well as her own IRFP label. In 2005, Rylan was named Research Affiliate at the Center for Advanced Visual Studies at MIT to study chaotic synthesizer design. She has lectured at Bard College, Boston University, Harvard and Smith College.

"A handy module for converting MIDI data to trigger pulses, suitable for driving the Simmons SDS range. The module can also be used to trigger any drum machine that requires a short pulse of a variable level to trigger."

Waldorf Edition Update v1.2.3
30/10/2006:
This update is strongly recommended for all users of the new Waldorf Edition package published by Waldorf. It addresses the following issues:
*Saving and loading of Sounds and Banks on computers with Intel processors (Windows and Intel Mac) with the PPG Wave 2.V. The resulting files had some wrong values that might result in wrong behaviour or even crashes when loading them or opening song projects. Note that the PPG Wave 2.V 1.2.3 can load these erroneous Sounds or Banks and saves them back properly if wanted.
*Opening the PPG Wave 2.V as AudioUnit in Logic might result in up to 32 output channels assigned to the PPG Wave 2.V when run as a multi out instrument. On these outputs, digital noise might have occured.
