OXYGENE 4 cover
YouTube via nordlead22. sent my way via fischek. This one goes out to fabio!
"Here's my first, rather rough but totally live cover of Jarre's Oxygene 4. Sequenced from scratch, track by track on my ASQ10. There are no samples. I am playing the 2 main themes ( apart from the swap-over where I give it back to the sequencer to free my hands to adjust channel settings on the desk and allow for the program change) Apologies for the sound quality. Give me your opinions please. Far superior covers at www.zoolook.nl (matt222)
Nordlead 2; Minipops, bass, sequence, 2 themes - second through the Electric Mistress.
JP8000; Pad -through Smallstone Phaser, solina string sound underlaying main theme.
JD800; White noise 'pssssss'
WALDORF Q; squiggly resonant noise at end ( difficult to hear)
CS1X; Eminent string sound
DW6000; White noise through Smallstone."

Looking for a Moog under $200
This one came through AH from someone searching the archives. This is real. Note the date.

Subject: What are the best Moogs (non-modular)
Date: Fri, 5 Dec 1997 13:46:04 -0700
Lets talk Moogs. Is the Minimoog the best choice for a good
sounding non-modular Moog synth? It doesn't seem to have that many
controls-- I want something I can really fool around with--- maybe I'm just
talking out of my rear-- I don't know-- I just need someone to reassure me.
:-) Also-- at the present, I am looking for a good working Moog synthezier
at the price of $200 or below. Thank you very much."
