LZX Industries Monolith Modular Synthesizer
YouTube via Zolophile.
follow-up to this auction post.
"Quick demo of the LZX Monolith, sequenced by an SCI Pro One. The Monolith is patched in typical monosynth fashion: oscillators -- mixer -- filter -- vca. Only the bandpass output from the filter is heard. The envelope generator is sending voltage to the vca, filter, and oscillator (which I bring up only when switching on the oscillator sync)."
"Another quick demo of the LZX Monolith, sequenced by an SCI Pro One. The Monolith is patched in typical monosynth fashion: oscillators -- mixer -- filter -- vca. Only the low-pass output from the filter is heard. The envelope generator is sending voltage to the vca, filter, and oscillator teo. The lfo is sending a slow triangle wave to the pulse width modulation input."
Glitch Sound Design in Ableton Live

"Visit http://www.nickstutorials.com for more Ableton Live tutorials on sound design and music production!
In this video I outline a simple, iterative process for creating lots of tiny glitch sounds using just about any audio source material. The devices used are the Redux, Reverb, Frequency Shifter, Simple Delay, Gate, and Grain Delay. Additionally, I cover creative resampling of your glitches for later slicing and rearranging via the Random MIDI device. Enjoy!"

Formant Modular

Description in Googlish:
"This kit, published in 1979 by the magazine Elektor, is a monophonic analog synthesizer module within the meaning of the legendary Moog.
I bought it in 1980 for about 2000 DM with a friend (we were at that time students of electrical engineering), lovingly, expertly assembled six weeks of legwork. As shown in the photographs, it consists of:
· Module frame in walnut veneer
· 3 VCOs (Voltage Controlled Oscillators)
· 1 VCF (Voltage Controlled Filter)
· 1 VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier)
· 2 ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release)
· 3 LFOs (Low Frequency Oscillators)
· 1 Noise Module
· 1 COM module
· 5 octave keyboard
Various · connection
· Building and Operating
In addition, we have built for the first VCO some "gimmicks", such as sawtooth and pulse width control in a kind of simple sequencer based on a gated binary counter, etc."
