O-GAWA for iPad -The Future Beat Machine-

YouTube via yudoinc — April 07, 2010 — "O-Gawa (Ou-Gawa) is Yudo inc.'s first iPad musical application and fully makes use of the screen.

●What is O-Gawa?
It consists on touching objects synchronized with rhythm loops. Loops play back can also be designated.
The manipulation is really simple and is the best suited for real time performance.
You can also enjoy the visual effects made by the synchronized lines and shapes drawn with your finger on the top of the screen.
This "rhythm machine" using the iPad's environment has evolved into the best performance tool.
It is really helpful to make tracks using electronic and techno sounds."

Waldorf Blofeld Keyboard, 2 sounds together using multimode

Update via Achim, "the mute function probably isn't what he was trying to use. On the "receive" page 2/5 he finds the answer to his question of which parts the keyboard sends to: You can set "receive Local" on or off there (the graphics still shows USB and
MIDI from page 1/5)."

monome five twelve unboxing

YouTube via stretta — April 07, 2010 — "Personally, I think unboxing videos are fairly ridiculous. But, so then is the five twelve. Since there are only 10 of these things, and it wasn't a big deal to set up a camera, I decided to share this. Don't expect a music demo - this is just a first impression and plug in."

This reminds me, I was playing Smule's Magic Piano on my iPad last night and decided to see what "Duet" mode was. It brought up a globe of the world that rotated to another player visualized by streams of light for each note played. There was a name "Sofia" on the bottom right of the screen. I was able to play along to this person. I have no idea if "Sofia" heard and saw my name while playing as well.

According to the Smule website: "
Play With the World!

Travel around the Smule Globe to find other Piano users. Select "duet mode" and Magic Piano will create warp holes to connect you with other Pianists.

To stay connected to a single individual, just say so, and play back and forth to your heart's content. Or just listen into other player's duets on the globe."
