"The MOTM-730 is a PIC microprocessor-based digital module that takes an input signal and generates lower frequency square waves at multiples of the input frequency. It is a "big brother" to the MOTM-120 Sub-Octave Mux (in divide mode): the '120 divides by the multiples 2, 4, 8 and 16. The MOTM-730 can generate multiples from 1 to 33, as well as 'half' multiples (1.5 to 16.5). There is also an 8-step, positive-going sawtooth wave that has 3 user-selectable step intervals."

Morphing Terrarium Meets BugBrand
via the BugBrandBlog
"SynthTech E350 in BugBrand Banana Frac
Making use of the E350 Morphing Terrarium kits from Synthesis Technology, I've made my own BugModular version with a few additions to the standard Euro module - inclusion of Mod-depth controls for X/Y/Z inputs and switches for the two option jumpers on the module rear (for Interpolation and Phase Mode).
It is great to have the wonderful power & sonics of the E350 in my system!"

"Here is an oddity- Steve Jones and myself experimenting with the MacBeth Mk1 Modular pre-production units and the venrable M5N. The M5N on this vid was the last one in production and hence it resides here! Please exuse the beer glass that features in this vid! The start of the vid features my two favourite systems comprising of MacBeth Mk1 Modules played using two Korg Prophecies as controller keyboards- Steve almost does as much of a 'ham fisted' job of playing towards the end- just like myself! - but the sound is there =] The latter part of the vid is just chaotic experimentation but we see the Mk1 Analogue Keyboard controller put to some use!.....please enjoy- Ken M"

Roland JX-8P Soundscape - Picture in Your Mind
YouTube via audibleobsession
"The Roland JX-8Ps sonic character tends to draw me into a dream-like state. It's stubbornly loud resonances can be difficult to tame in a full mix, but it's partly this quality that makes it a unique and interesting synthesizer. A few nights ago, I was watching some Archive.org videos when I stumbled on this gem from 1948. I found myself playing an LFO based "arpeggio" on the JX8P while watching the movie. It wasn't long before I was multitracking my way to a soundscape. Again, it's not perfect (no processing or editing of any sort) but its certainly hypnotic. As always, glad to share my JX8P patches (I have them all on my desktop, since I use the VST editor). Just message me on YouTube. Here's a link to the full movie:
