"Phat Digital Effects Synthesizer, built from a heavily modified Zoom 506 Bass Effects pedal, upgraded with some new circuitry and re-housed in a shiny metal box.
Clear perspex is used, and flashing LFO lights are mounted inside the case. All my beautiful wiring is visible too, as well as the sexy looking circuit boards."

Squidfanny - Circuit Bent - Ibanez pd7 Bass pedal for Rob

"Phat old Bass Analog Overdrive Pedal required 'beefing up', so added Grotty 3 band feedback oscillators, Distortion Switch and Flashing envelope Light.
Unfortunately there was no room inside the machine for new knobs and switches, so had to use a breakout box."

Quantum Clockwork's Instrumental is coming...

"Instrumental is a wifi midi control surface for iPad and iPhone.

It includes four different surfaces:

a 4×4 drum pad, with plenty of rotaries and switches
an 8 or 16 channel mixer, with almost 100 separate controls
a Wicki-Hayden hexagonal keyboard, with plenty of rotaries and switches
a standard piano keyboard, also with plenty of rotaries and switches

Instrumental does not make any sound on its own. It is designed to work as a control surface for a DAW package running on your computer.

While Instrumental will work with any program that accepts MIDI input, it works best with Propellerhead Reason and Propellerhead Record. Instrumental makes extensive use of Propellerhead’s powerful Remote system to provide automatically labelled controls, with all the realtime feedback you’d expect from high-end surfaces with motorised controls and countless LED displays. Coming Soon to the App Store!"

Isotope of Me - 4ms Sub-divide & Eurorack Modular

Sub-divide by isotopeofme
"This little demo is an example of using the 4ms as a sub-harmonic generator. The fun part is that you can rotate the outputs so change the resulting notes/chords. This example is one oscillator feeding a square wave into the RCD, then mixing 5 outputs into a mixer while sending a S&H voltage to the rotate input. That's all feeding to the ZDSP for delay. The bass drum is just a self oscillating filter enveloped and mixed into the whole."

Via isotropics New Cabinets & Modules where you'll find more pics, and 4ms RCD as Sub-Harmonic Divider.

Prophet 600 playing by itself in a duet with piano

YouTube Uploaded by nick122147 on Jun 11, 2011

"I hadn't used my prophet 600 (mid 80's analog synthesizer) for a long time. When I took it out to a gig it started playing by itself, changing sounds and pitch randomly, it was quite musical I think. I sat down at the piano and improvised together with it while my friend Chris filmed.
Please do comment if someone has a technical explanation on how it could play by itself! The buttons have not been working very well for a while, I think it's something to do with the computer that scans the settings of the buttons, and also which keys are being pressed down, and this function was obviously not working as it should.
Funny thing is how it stopped at the end of this video at the same time as I stopped.
After I left it plugged in for 48 hours it has gradually come back to normal, so no more music from it.

I'm thinking that maybe one year in a flightcase was to much for it to take, so it had a lot of music inside that just had to come out.

You can hear more from the prophet 600 here (together with also oberheim obx, SEM, arp 2600, jupiter 6, b3 organ and more):
