NAMM: KOMA Elektronik "YouTube yourself!" Competition & Videos

via KOMA Elektronik:

"A lot of buzzing going on in the KOMA office. While our colleague Wouter is going off to NAMM next week to present our effects pedals plus our new Eurorack Motion Sensor Controller, called the KOMMANDER, to the states, we are still running our "YouTube yourself!" competition until sunday the 15th.

Customers are asked to film their KOMA pedal in action and can win a KOMAnizer kit, a special noise drone synth that we usually use for workshops only. A lot of nice videos have come in so far. But we'd love to see more. So please spread the word! Here's a collection of some of the submissions so far:"

Koma Elektronik BD101 with DSI Tempest and BugBrand Modular

YouTube Uploaded by d4nnyp on Dec 29, 2011

"Messing about with my newly acquired Koma Elektronik BD101 analogue delay pedal.
Beat is from DSI tempest, left channel through BD101 right channel through Mixer. Modular is doing a simple bass noise sequenced from dividers. An envelope clocked with 16ths is controlling the BD101 gate, joystick controls the decay length of the envelope. Modular 8 step Sequencer clocked slowly from dividers is controlling the delay time on the BD101 and the feedback is controlled by the BD101 motion sensor. The additional delay and reverb are from a Roland RE-301.
Its all a lot of fun!!"

Buchla meets Koma

XoXboX plus KOMA AnAlOg gate / delay pedal.

via KOMA: "By the way, we love cats in videos! ;-)"

"Demo.
The Koma pedal has a gate and a very short delay.
At the end of the delay range the Koma gets in a kind of a bit-crusher sounding effect.
This is not often found at a analog pedal.
This is because Koma has modded the chip!"

In 2012, only one year after his first successful product on the market, Feeltune is proud to present the next generation in the Rhizome range. Our team has worked hard to satisfy the top quality requirements of ours users, and we’re proud to announce these two new products:

Rhizome SXE
With a powerful embedded computer, new dark gray color and a new 8 I/O balanced output; the new model of Rhizome is designed for musicians and producers who need the best “all-in-one” solution in the market. Powered by an optimized Windows 7 embedded system, that Rhizome is ready for the future.

Rhizome LE
Like the Rhizome, is big brother, this model has numerous controls and very large display areas, making it a perfect controller. The difference lies in the fact that the LE version does not have an embedded computer system and must therefore be connected to a -Windows or OSX - computer."
