Roland Jupiter 80 - Dan Burton Demo

YouTube Published on Apr 19, 2012 by DanBurton190

"This is my Roland Jupiter 80 with the new Version 2.0 installed. I have only had it for a few days and I can honestly say this is the most powerful synth I have owned. I have analogue gear (old stuff from the 80's and new stuff such as the Dave Smith synths) and yes, they are each to their own but I can honestly say this thing sounds amazing! It can sound like the most vintage analogue synth to the best digital synth such as the JD800. So this is just a quick rough demo showing you some sounds of the JP80."

"that circuit bent instrument is built by drmoonstien (http://www.youtube.com/user/drmoonstien/videos). i packed it into an old travel case with a nice mirror inside and it fits very well. for the video i combined it with dementia dm1, running through a boss sl 20 and rainbow machine to add some noisy backgrounds and pulses. it´s a real wonderful beast, that noisy 'trumpet wodden synth creation'."
