Nord Modular G1 Modular Synthesizer with Custom LEDs

"As you can see in the pictures, there are custom LEDs on the unit. I realized that the LED on knob 12 isn't lit in the picture, however, it does work. The LEDs only light up when a parameter is assigned to them. In addition to the parameter LEDs being modified, the octave lights are coded for easier reading (ie 1 oct up/down is orange, 2 is red) and Bank LEDs are color coded too. As you may know, standard LEDs on the Nord Modular are all green..." Be sure to read the full listing as always if you plan to bid. This one has a few issues.

"Vintage Synthesiser toy from 1978 in good condition it appears to be working fine but the sequencer pegs require a bit of a wiggle.

Heres a few bits of info i found on line

"Incredible Machine. Far ahead of its time - a mini sequencer with endless possibilites. Kind of a ROLAND TB-303 but much cooler & cheaper. The coloured buttons can be used to change the melody and rhythm - each color has a different tune. You can also change the speed and pitch of the sequence with 2 sliders."

You can find a video of the Muson Synthesizer here.

Dirty Carter Hardwire Mod by A.S.M.O.

"The Dirty Carter Electronic Sound Generating Instrument was designed by John Richards (Dirty Electronics) and Chris Carter from legendary Industrial pioneers Throbbing Gristle. It was produced for a special performance by Carter and the 25 strong Dirty Electronics Ensemble in 2010. It was originally designed as a touch controlled instrument with the player's skin resistance completing the circuit. This hard wired modification by A.S.M.O. gives more control and predictability by wiring all to the touch contacts to pots and switches. An additional low pass resonant filter has been added, LFO and an external CV socket for filter modulation. The case is made of stained ply and the front panel is covered with black leatherette."

Experimental : White Noise thru EHx Deluxe Electric Mistress, Small Stone Phase Shifter & Memory Boy

YouTube Published on Sep 13, 2012 by tlnet37

"At first, sorry for the very bad video quality (and my bad english ;-) ) ; I have many problems with my camera ; but here, the most important is to hear the evolution of the pure analog white noise generated by my Roland SH-101, thru the Electro Harmonix analog effects pedals : the Deluxe Electric Mistress (flanger), the Small Stone Phase Shifter (phaser) and the Memory Boy (analog delay with vibrato/chorus)."

Deluxe Electric Mistresses on eBay - they do exist.

Audiobus Inter-App Audio on iOS Approved

via Audiobus on Facebook

"This morning, Apple finished reviewing the first version of Audiobus, and it has been approved.

We’ve been working with a small group of third party developers that we already have a close connection with because we want to make sure that those apps can serve as examples for all the other developers (currently more than 400) for how to implement Audiobus.

Once our initial community of developers have finished the Audiobus integration, we’ll be all launching together and opening up the SDK to the public."

For those not familiar with Audiobus, this will now allow the audio of one app to be process by another. You will be able to process your iOS synths with other synths and effects. Until now you could only run them in parallel and you could only sync or control them via virtual MIDI. Audiobus will bridge the final gap.
