Musicvideo "Akira-san" ft. JX-8P, Poly6, Kawai K3m, xOxbOx, Pearl DRX-1

"Video for a groovy complex dancetrack i made with fruityloops. I used only analog synths here like JX8P, Poly6, xOxbOx, Kawai K3m, Z3 analogue synth (diy) and the pimped Pearl DRX1 drumsynth. Bassdrum, Clap and Anime-samples are out of the computer, the rest is pure analogue gear (the DRX-BD simply didnt fit in the mix here). I created the song also for proving thorough functionality of the diy chop-Stereodelay with midicontroled downsampler and the diy-midi-interface with TR-909 Hihat/Rim-section i made for the Pearl Drumsynth. You will encounter a lot of anime characters in the song and video. They are from a japanese television series calles "Aria - the animation" of 2005 which i quite like. I also added some synaesthetic motiongraphics and explaining text throughout the video for your better understanding which instrument is playing which sound and for some parameters that were tweaked while recording. "This is a nice Korg 700 analog synthesizer. Fat analog sounds from the 70-ties and full direct control with all the sliders and knobs. Really made as a performance synth with nice features.
