Nova Musik: Pigtronix Custom Shop Active Dual CV Expression Pedal

Published on Aug 7, 2014 Nova Musik

"Colin Kasprowicz of Multiple Mono demonstrates the Pigtronix Custom Shop Active Dual CV Expression Pedal, the only active, CV-capable expression pedal available, and one that has dual outputs to control two CV parameters at once.

With a range of 0-5V the Active Dual CV Expression pedal is not only eurorack-friendly but can also control other gear equipped with 0-5V CV inputs, including Arturia MiniBrute and MicroBrute, Korg MS-20 mini, Studio Electronics BOOMSTARs, Tom Oberheim SEMs, et al. The pedal's dual outputs allow for control over two separate CV parameters at once with a polarity reversal switch on one of the outputs to let you move the values of two separate parameters in opposite directions.

Made in the USA by Mission Engineering for Pigtronix, this is the world's finest expression pedal. The custom made, sealed potentiometer is precision engineered to exactly match the throw of the pedal in order to achieve the full range of expression from your CV-enabled synths and modules. High quality Neutrik jacks and an automotive grade, textured green finish make this expression pedal both handsome and indestructible."

"S/N A60500140. This is the review unit from Keyboard Magazine's May 2001 review. I acquired it after the review was published. (Couldn't bear to send it back.) Built prior to Alesis' bankruptcy and re-org/acquisition by Numark. Used from unboxing in 3 environments only: my workspace at Keyboard, the Keyboard lab/studio, and my smoke-free home studio. Never gigged.
