"Up for sale is a (1) rare Moog Sonic Six synthesizer. It's just been serviced and in good working condition now (invoice of the service included in the sale). Optical it's in nice condition for its age. All the knobs and sliders are original, the front panel is almost mint, the keyboard is in good condition. There are a few scratches on the case, but inside it's in near mint condition (see photo's). It comes with its original brochure, printed in 1972. It's a switchable 115 / 230V version."

Buchla 255 Control Voltage Processor

"This is the no longer manufactured 255 Control Voltage Module. It is in working order and can add lag to 8 different signals as well as perform a Buchla voltage range invert and scale. The original intended use seems to have been to provide processed voltages for a 296 module but it's utility nature can be used in for CV processing throughout the system.

The Model 255 Voltage Processor is an eight channel lag processor, in which each output voltage is a scaled and (optionally) inverted replica of the corresponding input voltage. Additionally a delay time can be inserted that is variable from .01 seconds to 10 seconds. This delay is separately controllable for positive and negative excursions.

Note that the 255 is a specialty item; it is not an e series module, and consequently cannot stash its current state as a preset."

YAMAHA TX802 FM TONE GENERATOR SN NX02411

"Despite its name, the TX802 FM Tone Generator is basically a rack-module version of the DX7mkII with full 8-part multi-timbral operation for sequencing and/or key mapping. It has 16-voices of polyphony and six digital FM Operators, the same as in the DX7mkII. There are 128 preset and 64 user patches for your sounds, as well as an external memory cartridge slot.

As if the large keyboard DX versions weren't difficult enough to program, the TX802's limited interface makes editing and programming your own sounds next to impossible without the help of external hardware or software editors. In the late 1980's, the TX802 was an excellent way to get a compact box full of Yamaha's DX sounds."

"This listing is for an old FM synthesizer made at 1987 by Korg.

A interesting model that has D-8 engine with cheap toy sounds.

Also you would play by stand position cause very light weight and has strap pins to the body like ROLAND SH101.

This sound was used by a famous techno producer Juan Atkins."

Published on Aug 23, 2014 Perplex On

via discchord

Note this is a playlist that runs through all of Perplex On's videos.

Video description:

"This shows a live and uncut homestudio improvisation with an iPad using the drumsynth Impaktor (with the help of pimped Tupperware), Ableton Push, Reaktor's Serenade controlled by a Leap Motion Sensor and an induction coil for recording some electromegnatic noise.

Tech facts:
- iPad connected to an Akai EIE for Midi and Audio In/Out,

- generic Tupperware pimped with piezo feeding the Impaktor app,

- illuminated by Arduino-driven RGB-LED-Stripes responsive to the frequency/volume,

- Leap Motion controlling the Reaktor Patch "Serenade" (the tiny stick is just for the show)

- Ableton Push doing Ableton Push things

Timeline:

00:05: Recording some electromagnetic fields with an induction coil

00:40: Playing around with POLYRHYTHMUS, an awesome Max4Live sequencer (Link: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/dev...)

01:30: Leap Motion controlling the Reaktor patch Serenade, a virtual string synth

02:32: Drumming with Impaktor for iPad, fed by an external piezo mounted in Tupperware

05:20: Recording and mangling some strings in Samplr

09:00: Glitching the drums coming from Impaktor with Turnado

09:25: Recording some vocal pads
