Moog Sub 37 - Duo Mode Improvisation
Published on Aug 16, 2014 Zach Ashcraft
"Duo Mode is an incredibly welcome addition to the Moog Sub 37. The ability to play two notes at once opens up the door to a wide array of new musical possibilities. I loved this more mellow sound, and just wanted to improvise on a harmonic progression. I'm adjusting the filter cutoff throughout the change the timbre. The sub-oscillator is dialed in just a bit.
Recorded through the Apogee Duet. No other effects, EQ, compression, etc. applied. This is straight out of the Synth."

Moog Sub 37 - Unboxing + First Hour
Published on Aug 14, 2014
"Sounds 100% Sub 37 - Synth, Bass, Drums
The Moog sub 37 arrived at my doorstep today, after parting ways with the Slim Phatty. Within an hour, I was able to dial in a range of kicks, snares, bass, and lead tones with so much ease and speed. This synth is going to become a staple of studios and live rigs."
I LIKE IT ELECTRIC by SOLTEC
"These tracks were created entirely on the Korg Electribe MX. They will be included in an album of all original songs created using only hardware. The outputs of the EMX were routed to an Elektron Octatrack and recorded as 24-bit files using the sample recorder. Loudness was achieved using the tube gain and a small amount of compression/limiting on the Octatrack. No computers were used to process the track."

Note this one needs work: "The unit turns on and plays notes but the sound it produces is very unstable in pitch somehow, especially when you move the Pitch Bend slider. The LFO MOD on VCO seemed like its not responding too well either, so I'm selling this AS IS to be used with some servicing/adjustment done. Otherwise everything else appears to be working fine to the best of my knowledge, all other knobs and keys and switches seem to be responding as they should."
