Pablum Sargusso - Eurorack Modular Drum Track by Vedic Space Program

"I built a modular drum machine that is pretty much self-contained: sequencing, sampling, drum sounds and effects. I do use some outboard gear for processing and music engineering (biphase, tape delay, reverb, compressors, eqs and preamps)

Vedic Space Program is the name of my music project and I have just posted some tracks on Bandcamp using this set up and no other instruments used in the making of this music. It is all created and mixed live with no overdubs. There is unlimited streaming for those that are curious to hear more tracks."

Be sure to visit http://discchord.com for the latest music app news!"

What's New in Version 2.0:
• Arpeggiator: turn chords into melodies
• New drum kit, basses, and leads
• Easier and faster sharing on Propellerhead

More Cowbell: a Physically-Informed, Circuit-Bendable, Digital Model of the TR-808 Cowbell

A paper on the Roland TR-808 cowbell at academia.edu
"ABSTRACT
We present an analysis of the cowbell voice circuit from the Roland TR-808 Rhythm Composer. A digitalmodel based on this analysis accurately emulates the original. Through the use of physical and behavioralmodels of each sub-circuit, this model supports accurate emulation of circuit-bent extensions to the voice’soriginal behavior (including architecture-level alterations and component substitution). Some of this behavioris very complicated and is inconvenient or impossible to capture accurately through black box modeling orstructured sampling. The band pass filter sub-circuit is treated as a case study of how to apply Mason’sgain formula to finding the continuous-time transfer function of an analog circuit."

New Limited Edition White MeeBlip anode

via Create Digital Music:

"So, to celebrate anode, we’re bringing out a special limited edition for summer. As you’ve no doubt noticed, it comes in a new creamy white case. But the controls have been updated, too. People liked the wavetable mode so much, we’ve made that the default, so you can dial in a wide range of sounds from the front panel. And to give you blindingly-quick access to envelopes, there’s one knob for amplitude and one knob for decay. Sound performance has also been fine-tuned, so it’s even more responsive.

We’re only making 250 of these, hand numbering them, so once they’re gone, they’re gone. (The original anode will remain available, both direct and at worldwide dealers.)"

"Excellent condition. Couple of small scratches. One display does not work (one to the very right - EG/VCA) However unit is still fully usable as the parameters for this display section can be seen on the LED function and data display when selected.

'The AX80 has the privilege of being the first pro-keyboard produced by Akai, released in 1984. It's an eight-voice programmable analog synthesizer with a full 61-note keyboard and a series of techno-looking LCD bar-graph displays running across the top of the keyboard. Two analog oscillators per voice plus a sub oscillator provide the basis of its punchy analog sounds that can be described as similar to a Chroma Polaris or Roland Juno 106.'"
