In this video there are 3 unbelievable musician friends: Demo Morselli on Trumpet, Cristiano Micalizzi on Drums and Mario Guarini on Bass...and Me! on the keyboards and synthesizers ;)! Of course in my new setup there are the new "Yamaha Refaces" (in this song only the "Reface CS" and "DX" with "Yamaha Cp40"). Thank's to my friend Carlo Castellano "Ceo and Genius" of "Audiothing.net" In this song my Reface DX is processed from the plug-in "Fog Convolver" (is unbelievable convolution reverb!!!!) Introducing the All-New M-Audio Code Series Keyboards

Published on Aug 11, 2015 M-Audio

"M-AUDIO NOW SHIPPING INNOVATIVE CODE SERIES KEYBOARDS

Three models—25-, 49- and 61-key versions—deliver professional-feel keybeds, full feature sets and surprising pricing

Cumberland, RI (August 13, 2015)— M-Audio (m-audio.com), synonymous with innovative music production technology, today announced that deliveries have begun of its highly-anticipated Code Series keyboards, a family of three full-featured models. Available in 25-, 49- and 61-key versions, the Code Series combines a remarkably smooth-feeling keyboard with a surprisingly complete feature set to create a keyboard line of unusually professional capability and unexpected value.

The Code Series builds upon M-Audio’s legacy of innovative workflow and playability. Their comprehensive controls automatically map to popular DAW’s such as Ableton Live, Apple GarageBand, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, and Cubase, so artists can easily convert their creativity into immediate, tangible results.

The Code Series delivers top-of-the-line performance with their professional-feel keybeds, very complete feature sets and included software, yet they are priced far below what might ordinarily be expected for this level of capability.

All Code Series keyboards feature:
• Smooth-feel, semi-weighted keybed with aftertouch
• 16 velocity-sensitive pads with LED feedback
• Touch pad for X/Y axis control
• USB Bus powered for portability and ease of use
• 5 Pin MIDI Input, and Output jacks allowing you to control your favorite synths
• Assignable pitch & mod wheels, knobs, faders, buttons (with macro ASCII support), and transport control with Mackie Control and HUI modes
• Split keyboard with four assignable zones
• Expression and Sustain pedal inputs
• 6 digit LED display

In addition, a comprehensive software package is included—Ableton Live Lite, AIR Music Technology Loom and Hybrid 3—that ensures the artist has unrestricted access to the best creative tools.

“The new Code Series keyboards offer a professional level of performance and keybed feel, combined with an unusually comprehensive set of features and included software,” said J.C. Sutherland, Product Manager for M-Audio. “All this adds up to one of our most eagerly-awaited new product introductions ever.”

Retail pricing for the Code Series is as follows:
Code 25—$299
Code 49—$349
Code 61—$399

Axoloti Noodles

Published on Aug 13, 2015 Mark Harris

"Noodling around with the Axoloti, a Madrona Labs Soundplane and an Eigenharp Alpha.

Im loving the Axoloti board , 60 Euro for so much power and flexibility.. programmed like a nord modular on the computer, and then upload the patch so it can run standalone (i.e. without computer). tiny board - you can just see it top right in soundplane part

Here I just grabbed it with some patches Ive made, and had some quick fun with my Soundplane and Eigenharp Alpha.

The Axoloti supports MPE (Midi Polyphonic Expression), so I can have individual notes with different timbres and pitch-bend, volumes

Details:
Madrona Labs Soundplane : using MPE , each note individual voice, which includes a LFO (the bouncing) that has a changeable rate per note. (the Y axis on the Soundplane, also used for filter)

Eigenharp Alpha : using MPE, again per note expression, but a more conventional synth voice, Y axis is used for filter/resonance. the strip controller on the Alpha is used to control distortion fx (on the Axoloti)

Axoloti: 2 patches, one for my Soundplane, other for alpha, loaded on the SDCard, and can be switched via midi (on my Alphas percussion keys).

Other: Valhalla Vintage Verb used for Ableton for post production reverb. ( I hope to use another Axoloti board for reverbs in the future)"

You'll find a video of this one (according to the auction) previously posted here.

"Armon Concert Strings/Brass synthesizer with Reeds and Piano.

This has a Hell of a lot on it...

* String section with Cello, Violin and Percussion and also a 'solo' switch for lead lines.

* Reeds section with Accordion, Musette and Organ.

* Piano section with Piano and also HonkyTonk.

* Brass section with Trombone and Trumpet and with it's own controls for Attack and Brilliance.

* An effects section that has a 'mute' function and also vibrato.

* Finally a general section with overall Attack and Sustain.

LED's in each section light up to show you which parameters are active and tweak-able for each voice.

And that's not all... you can also mix voices by pressing both buttons to create new sounds and textures.
Has it's own built-in amplifier and speakers in the bottom so you can either play it stand alone, or hook it up to a separate amp and speakers. Sockets on the rear include headphones, sustain and pedal and the external output. In absolutely fantastic condition - just one point to note - on the right hand wooden end piece, the top corner isvery slightly damaged - as can be seen in one of the photos."

"Notes of Interest -

The battery compartment and AC adapter are not the originals and have been replaced, however the unit has been tested successfully using batteries as well as AC power and can be used with either one.

One thing to mention about the battery compartment is that because the plastic of the compartment is not aged in the same conditions as the keyboard, the color looks slightly different under strong lighting conditions. You will be able to see that in the photographs. Low light you can hardly tell that the part is not the original.

Functionality -

Every key works great, every switch, and slider works as it should, as does the pitch bend and tilt to modulate. In addition, the step sequencer functions as it should, and will record a playback that you performed to then have you manipulate that playback with the sliders, switches, etc, and the arpeggiator works as well."

"12 bit version, no midi, some pitting in the paint as per the photos but the chassis is straight as in no dings or bends, the end pieces are in nice condition and there's no screws knobs or sliders missing and has the original factory patches loaded.

It also Recently had the power supply recapped.

Please note that it takes about 15 minutes for it to warm up and then it works as it should, I believe there's something about this in the original operation manual.

In all its a nice machine however cosmetically it's not mint, personally it infuriates me that someone would let something so beautiful deteriorate but I guess after all its just a tool and once it's on a record nobody knows that it's not a museum piece"
