Hi everyone! Today marks the 11 year anniversary of MATRIXSYNTH! This site launched on July 20 of 2006. For anyone curious about the name and the matrix alias, it comes from the Oberheim Matrix-6, my first synth, purchased brand new in 1986. That means this year also marks 30 years since my first synthesizer!
Since 2005 the site has received approximately 51 million pageviews from over 23 million visits from all over the globe. This is post number 140,858. That's over 140,000 posts that have gone up, individually by hand, since July 20, 2006. This site is a daily snapshot of the synth world including content from both the makers and users of synths.
I want to thank everyone who enjoys and contributes to the site, including the sponsors and all the supporting members of the site! THANK YOU!!!

This is just a fun video that I thought some of you may enjoy, I have been loading tape data back into Doug Wyatt's Memorymoog today and ran across a tape that sparked my interest to hear...I pulled out my cassette player and loaded the data into the Memorymoog and this is the results...VERY 80's!"
