"I have been wanting to add to the Pittsburgh Modular System 10 for some time but cases to expand have always seemed out of reach, but TipTop Audio released a new plastic based eurorack case that is cheaper than a eurorack module(relatively speaking). I couldn't wait to test it out so we ran the Volca FM through the Mutable Instruments Clouds as an effects unit. Have a great week everyone, and thanks for watching and listening!

"The TB-303 is one of the most sought-after monophonic synthesizers.

Over the years people have made hardware clones of them and software versions as well. It has gone so far that TT-303 looks almost exactly like the original TB!

Roland has issued two digital versions of the 303 in the last few years trying to quench the demand but it seems people still want a reissue of the original analog version.

So in this video we take a listen to the two new digital versions from Roland, the analog Cyclone TT-303 and the Original 303 from 1982.

We listen to the raw version with two different patterns as well the spectrum analysis of all 4 at the same time."

Verbos Electronics Announces The Bark Filter Processor Eurorack Module at Machines in Music Event

"We announced our new module at Machines in Music, in case you missed it. The Bark Filter Processor is a fixed filter bank with 12 bands on the Bark scale. Each filter is a 6 pole bandpass with a separate output and envelope follower. The voltage controlled mixer from the Harmonic Oscillator then allows dynamic mixing of the filters, as well as separate even/odd processing. LEDs show the content of the input signal and the levels of channels on the mixer. Also, there's a master decay control and master envelope follower output."

"An ambient track based on subtle polymetric sequences and timbral variation.

Harmonic drone/sequence: Verbos Harmonic Oscillator into Clouds pitch shifting +1 octave with slight feedback. 7-note Moskwa sequence to HO scan input; slow LFO into width.

Main slow melody: MS20 Mini triangle wave (with subtly resonant filters) through uFold into long delay. Choices joystick controls fold amount and amount of LFO to uFold symmetry. MS 20 sequenced by Verbos Voltage Multistage through A156 and poorly calibrated English Tear (so the low notes go off key, but interestingly, I think), advanced by three gates in each 7-step Moskwa cycle.

Thin backup melody: MS20 multed to A189-1 for subtle bitcrushing, through Serge Resonant EQ into Wow & Flutter for short and wobbly delay. LFO modulates bit reduction; manual tweaking of EQ and delay feedback."
