All tubes by Weinglas

"'All Tubes' is the latest release from European noisemaker Weinglas. All tracks from this strange ride into darkness were created with the help of modular synthesizers and sound machines made with tubes. Thanks to Brian from Zerosum Inertia, Eric from Metasonix and W.T. from Trogotronic, who designed and produced these strange machines, Weinglas could turn the warmth and rawness of these old fashioned elements into never-before-heard walls of noise, sounding modern and vintage at the same time."

The following is a video for Tubemaster 2, the 10th track on the release on Vicmod Records.

Concept video-teaser for GENESI festival, by exploring a vision on the world's origin.

The Bereshit aleph, the first chapter of the biblical Genesis, was written on the surface of an egg, symbol of the principle of life, to tell how the Bereshit Elohim, principle transcending the divinity, created the sky and the earth, the life breath and the chaos.

We have written through images our idea of life birth, discovering a complex identity, between nature and power of the mind.

And some info on the event, inspiration for the video, and the line-up via Piero Fragola of TipTop Audio Records:

"This is a music festival for new year's eve

There are 5 areas from techno to pop music, but the main stage is techno.

They asked me for a concept video-teaser and I have worked on the idea of the genesis as a moment before the human creation.

A Quick Primer for the Novation Bass Station II

via Novation

"Bass Station II Thing Explainer

You might have heard about Novation’s Making Things Easy Day, where staff from all departments at the company HQ — from accounts to R&D — come together to make or improve things, with the focus on making them ‘easy’. Twice a year, we spend a day thinking outside the box, throwing convention out the window, and most importantly, recording our results so we can share our successes and failures at a later recap session. One participant of October 2016’s M.T.E.D was Jerome Meunier, who decided to jump headfirst into the easy pool with one of our synths, and create what he’s called the Bass Station II Thing Explainer..."

"Fully functioning Ensoniq ESQ-1 with Voice Crystal (cartridge for 80 additional patches) and SQX-10 sequencer expander (expands sequencer to 10,000 notes). Incredibly unique U.S.-made hybrid synthesizer workstation featuring digital waves and analog filter. 8-part multitimbral; excellent mod matrix; great sounds from cold digital pads to warm leads to highly evolving experimental soundscapes. Beautiful blue LED screen, with "soft keys" above and below = no menu diving at all. Some say the editing is the easiest of any digital synth. Has one assignable CV/expression-pedal in jack, for modular modulation."
