"It is almost impossible to describe the sound, flexibility and power of this machine without playing and hearing it. The FS1R is capable of any sound you can imagine.

The FS1R would be not for everyone, but a gem for the one who is seeking something special."

For those with an iPad, I created an 80 page iPad editor covering over 1000 parameters for the FS1R here. Even if you don't own an FS1R it's a good way to see what the synth is capable of.

"This is a very gently used keyboard. Everything works. It has touch sensitive keys, a pitch bender, and is programmable! 5 octaves, comes with the stand you see in the photo."

"Chasing Wasps" — Eurorack Modular Jam

Published on Jun 4, 2017 Mattias Häggström Gerdt

"Recorded live and one-handed in one take.
No editing, no mixing, light mastering.

I'm too lazy to list modules and stuff today. The rack got pretty messy. :)"

Rephazer Ft. Walter Brown - Mississippi Moan (Quick Akai MPC Live Jam)

Published on Jun 4, 2017 Rephazer

"Hi folks, I just received the Akai MPC Live so had to give it a little spin.. A little jam, couple of usual mistakes and the great Walter Brown on vocals singing his song 'Mississippi Moan' loudly ;)

I am just trying out some general stuff here like muting/unmuting audio/sample sequences, midi sequencing the System-1 and Analog Four , imported some of my Soundfonts (Piano) which I converted in Akai format first, some OP-1 samples and other simple things...

For the little time I had with it up to now I think it's a very potential machine though it could use some updates.. Some things are a bit messy/missing or not working so you can see and feel it's still early days for the Mpc Live.

I do love the midi sequencer side of things which is the main reason I got the Mpc.. It's very nice to have a visual representation of what you play/record and it's tight! I really hope that there will be usb midi out support in the future and think it's strange it's not implemented by default.. The amount of (insert) effects that you can use on audio tracks/samples is insane.. though the quality of the effects is not my cup of tea.. The delay is okay.

I hope to find some more time the next couple of weeks to explore the machine some more and will post another video if so.. Cheers!"

Nord Lead A1 demo sounds | there might be 80s...

Published on Jun 4, 2017 Woody Piano Shack

"Demo of some of highlight sounds from the first bank of performance presets on the Clavia Nord Lead A1 synthesizer. We'll listen to some pads, basses, effects and other killers sounds. Inevitably some 80s references creep into the demos, I just can't stop myself!"
