I had a chance to try out the new Dave Smith REV2 while on a tour of Dave Smith Instruments in San Francisco [see the tour here], California. This Prophet REV2 synth demo features a variety of sounds that this great analog 8 and 16-voice synthesizer can do.

"This improvisation is a short demonstration of two Prophet 12 brass patches. Only sawtooth waveforms are used, and no pulse width modulation. Twelve voices panned to six voices per side for the usual stereo depth. A very impressive synthesizer!
