"Examples using the Entity PS as a frequency modulated lead sound and simple hi hat.

Patch Description:

The Entity PS is triggered via GateStorm and tracked 1V/OCT by The QuBit Octone (also clocked via GateStorm).

Frequency Modulation is set to FM only on the EPS. Modulation provided by Spectrum VCO.

The Ultra-Random Analog is clocked via GateStorm, S&H B is patched into the DECAY CV input on the EPS for minor variation in decay length.

VIRTUAL JD-990 editor / programmer for Logic

The maker wrote in to let us know the editor is now compatible "in Logic X 10.3.3 but has been incompatible since 8 on and is still only working now in 4-7 and 10.3.3 - still no go in v8 - 9, up to X 10.3.2." A little confusing, but there you have it. :) Know your versions.

"This software is a Virtual JD-990 synthesizer programmer for use with the ROLAND JD-990 synthesizer (only possible in Logic 4-7 and Logic X 10.3.3 or higher). It emulates the JD-800 front panel plus adds the additional JD-990 parameters in a software environment within the APPLE LOGIC audio/sequencer program (formerly Emagic Logic). To use this software you MUST have a valid copy of LOGIC on your computer (see below) as well as a MIDI interface which connects your computer via MIDI cable to your hardware synthesizer.

This software CANNOT be used as a stand alone application under any circumstances. It will NOT run in Ableton, Reason, AU, VST or any other host - it is not a plug-in but one importable layer of the Logic environment."
