Z-DSP TAPE ECHO: DIFFUSED CHORUS ECHO

Published on Sep 25, 2019 Station 252

"Diffused Chorus Echo sound examples. 6th algorithm on the new Tape Echo card for Z-DSP voltage controlled effects processor from Tiptop Audio.

Adds diffusion to the input and echo repeats creating more of a detuned wash to the sound. The diffusion
is modulated by internal LFOs for detuning/chorusing and the output is in stereo.

recorded directly from Z-DSP stereo out. Patched using an assortment of Tiptop Audio modules: Tiptop ONE, Z2040, Z4000, Forbidden Planet, Circadian Rhythms, BD808 and more."

"This has been completely gone over by Dave Brown and works as should EXCEPT I didn't mount the reverb...a tank is included with the sale along with a card that is wired..you'll have to get the 2nd half to go into your mixer..it can be 1/4, tt, or xlr."

This appears to be a listing by Joshua Holley of Malekko. You can find more of his listings here. The r in Buchla models usually represents Roman Filippov of Black Corporation. Prior to Black Corporation he was making Buchla clones. You can find previous posts featuring the 227r in the archives. I believe this is the first post to feature an image of the 227r.

"Roland MKS-80 Super Jupiter (rev 4) with included MPG-80 controller and manual. 16 VCO synth with desirable Rev 4 filter. Like an 8-voice Jupiter-6 with Aftertouch, patch stack, and velocity dynamics. Synth is in good shape, especially considering it's age. MPG shows some wear aesthetically, but newly cleaned faders and contacts so everything works like it should"

THREETOM modular / Modular & digital harmonica / Michael Claessens & Steve's MS-22

Published on Aug 11, 2019 Threetom Modular

"Ever wondered if a harmonica can be used to control a synth? The answer is yes!

Michael Claessens is a talented Belgian harmonica player who's interested in electronic music. We hooked up his digital harmonica to my modular system, featuring Steve's MS-22 dual VCF. This lead to an evening of modular fun, including this funky jazz improv we taped... Patch notes are in the description below!

Michael is playing a Lekholm DM48 Digital Chromatic Harmonica (https://www.lekholminstruments.com/). We connected the DM48 to the Endorphin.es Shuttle Control over USB host. We use two slightly detuned saw oscillators from the Intellijel Atlantis, which are mixed at 50% each and then sent into the input of Steve's MS-22 dual VCF. The DM48's breath MIDI CC is converted to a smoothed unipolar CV and routed in to the MS-22's FCV jack, modulating the cut-off frequency of the low-pass filter. The MS-22 is set with a high gain and moderate resonance. The high-pass filter is set at a low frequency, not affecting the signal. The output of Steve's MS-22 is then sent into a Zlob VniCursal VCA, modulated by the envelope of the Atlantis (triggered by the Shuttle Control). Reverb was added by means of the Tip Top Z-DSP with the Valhalla Reverb card."

Behringer K2 & RD8 Jam

Published on Sep 25, 2019 acidjack303

"A Quick and dirty jam, nothing special.
I programmed the Bassline pattern with the Pioneer Squid sequencer witch can also handle V/HZ as cv and the rigth trigger for the K2.
No compressors are used. Raw Quick and dirty."
