Cosmogonik by LDM Design for Novation Circuit

Demo - Part ONE - Cosmogonik by LDM Design from Isotonik Studios on Vimeo.

Cosmogonik is the first pack for the Novation Circuit from long standing Isotonik Collective member LDM Design. Designed around the theme of Dub Techno you'll find consistent macros and a dark dubby style to the patches, samples and sessions.

We've been banging on at Daniel of LDM Design for monhts now to finish the Novation Circuit Pack he's been working on for ages. Originally inspired when building apps for the ROLI block and controlling the Circuits Synth Engine he;'s taken his love for Techno and expandded it into a mammoth pack of Dubby Goodness.

The Cosmogonik pack is based around the sounds of Dub Techno & Ambient but also influenced by deeper Dubstep and Halfstep DnB, and many of the sounds will work with other minimal and deep genres of electronic music.

Many of the chord sounds are designed to be used with a generous amount of delay and reverb, as can be heard in the included sessions.

In line with our most popular packs for the Novation Circuit the majority of the patches have the same mapping for the Macros except for one or 2 which are a little more customized

Plankton Nutone dual tube VCA 1/2: demo + explained (LMS EE)

Published on Oct 9, 2019 Learning Modular

"The Plankton Nutone is a dual tube VCA based on the Korg Nutube: compact fluorescent displays re-engineered to act as micro vacuum triode tubes. Its easy-to-use interface include controls for each stage to be fed back into itself, as well as for each stage to be fed to the other one. It can be used as normal VCA with minimal distortion, as a tube VCA with distortion only on the envelope peaks, or as a saturation device. At high feedback levels, it will self-oscillate and generally freak out in interesting ways.

In this movie, I give a no-talking demo of using the Nutone, and then look at how it changes the incoming sound:

00:00 demo
01:53 overview
02:46 setting up
03:50 triangle/sawtooth variations
06:24 using as a VCA vs. saturator

The other movie demonstrates the Nutone in use as a VCA, as a saturation device, and as the two put together – including performance control. It is exclusive to those who have access to the Learning Modular Eurorack Expansion course (https://learningmodular.com/register/...), including Learning Modular Patreon supporters at the +5v level and above (https://www.patreon.com/LearningModular). Patreon supporters also have access to supplemental posts for both movies in this series."

This is a complete review / tutorial for the digital synthesizer ELZ_1 by Sonicware. It is a pretty fun piece of hardware and it is a lot simpler to use than what I previously thought.
In this video we will see all the functions the synth has to offer and how to use them.

"The Elysian is capable of everything the other drum scapes are - with four oscillators and delay, but Voltage Control (1/8" CV) has been added to integrate into other analog systems/cv sequencers. Control over the oscillators as well as the delay time.

The boxes are oak, 1/8" output jack, 5x 1/8" cv jacks, control over delay time (from extremely notated tight to about 1.5 seconds with near infinite repeat for loops), control over each of the oscillators with custom brass keys for each, 2 custom lamps glow warm white, custom switches for delay time and drum mode (3 modes)."

Note the listing states it is analog. The DK Synergy is actually digital. Check out this demo. You can find others in the archives here.

"Bench tested, all key contacts were cleaned, fan cleaned, and buttons functioning normal. All bank, all sliders, functioning normally; sustain pedal is original and works. Wood cabinet is very clean for its age; a few scuffs but pictures accurately represent all around condition of the DK Synergy."

Moog Voyager XL Tolex, 40th Anniversary Edition, SN 50 0f 100

This one was listed back in April.

"This is a Moog Voyager XL, rare Tolex Edition, serial #50 of 100 units ever produced. This particular Voyager is part of the 40th Anniversary year. Not all Tolex Voyagers are of this designation, and there is a metal badge screwed to the instrument at the factory indicating this instrument is a 40th Anniversary edition. (see photos).

The condition is absolutely pristine. Please enlarge and examine the photos. No scratches or wear. Always kept covered in a studio, never toured/gigged. The XY and ribbon controllers exhibit no wear or fingerprints."
