OVERSYNTH Panel Overlays for the Moog DFAM and Mother 32

Priced at $35 each via OVERSYNTH

"This is an aftermarket overlay that you place over the front panel faceplate of your Moog Mother-32 synthesizer. The overlay's artwork uses high contrast graphics and large fonts for easy viewing in low light. Note that we also make an overlay for the Moog DFAM that matches this color-scheme.

The overlay is printed on a highly durable, waterproof, and 100% recyclable polyester sheet (not vinyl, fiber, or plant-based). The matte finish is designed to minimize reflections from ambient light for maximum readability. If the overlay becomes dirty, we recommend gently wiping it down with a soft cloth moistened with water. We do not recommend cleaning the overlay with isopropyl alcohol as this may damage the artwork. Based on our testing, the following substances will severely damage the artwork if left on the surface for an extended period of time: tea tree oil, acetone, nail polish remover, bleach, household cleaners, and hand sanitizer."

OVERSYNTH also makes overlay panels for other synths.

Party At Baal's Place

Published on Dec 8, 2019 John L Rice

"This is the little music video that came about as an afterthought as I was working on the demo for the Laurentide SynthWorks Baal 3080 VCF module, full video here: [posted here]

I thought that more people will get to watch it if it was it's own separate video so I made a quick edit with a few minor tweaks. The full story of how this all came about is in the full demo video but in short, here's the gear I used:

Laurentide SynthWorks - Baal 3080 VCF
Moon Modular - 569 sequencer, 526 mixer
Synthesis Technology - MOTM-300 VCOs, MOTM-800 EG, MOTM-1800 EG, MOTM-190 VCA, MOTM-380 LFO, MOTM-650 MIDI to CV
Strymon - Timeline delay and BigSky reverb pedals
Retro Mechanical Labs - Electron Fuzz pedal
JHS - Firefly fuzz pedal
Lexicon - MX-400 reverb
Roland - Integra7 synth, A-49 keyboard
Mellotron - M4000D rack
Musser - tubular bells
Marantz - PMD-661 flash recorder
Canon - C100 MkII cameras and CN-E lenses
Fotodiox and Dracast LED lighting
Sony - Vegas Pro 13

Thanks for watching, rating, commenting, telling your friends, etc. If you've found this and/or my other videos useful or entertaining, please consider buying me a fancy cup of coffee? :-)

"Here we have a fully functional and upgraded EMU emulator II in very nice condition!

This has a 5.25" Bootup drive, and a more reliable 3.5" Floppy drive for extracting and storing your samples.

When this is shipped, we will have a 5.25" disc in the 5.25" drive so the drive will be safe for transport.

This also comes with an extensive 5.25" and 3.5" disc library. You can reformat the 3.5" discs included anytime you like, and what sounds that are not in the 3.5" DD library can be copied from the 5.25" library."

Roland JUPITER-6 new arrival

Published on Dec 8, 2019 synthlegends

"Yesterday, 7th of December 2019, I completed my Jupiter collection finding a very nice exemplar to a very reasonable price. My frist impression is, that it sounds very modern and not so vintage fat and lush like the JP-8 or massive like the JP-4. But I think the sound is very precise and perfect for electronica and all modern stuff. I just went around tweaking and found this nice split combi that I liked and decided to record. I used a bit of the BOSS CE-2 waza craft chorus pedal to get a nice stereo field. Please forgive some playing mistakes. It was just a first instant test and improvisation on my new Jupiter-6. Have fun as well. Cheers!"
