FLAME MÄANDER - Feedback, Vocal Processing and Drone Experiment #TTNM
Published on May 21, 2020 THE TUESDAY NIGHT MACHINES
"This is an experiment with audio feedback loops to create resonances and self-oscillation. MORE INFO BELOW :)
♥ SUPPORT: http://bit.ly/ttnm-support ♥
Setup:
- Headphone stereo output to mixer/recorder
- Mono/Left audio output into high-z audio input
- Control feedback with Main Out knob
- Control overall volume with Phones knob
- iPhone with NPR Podcast into line audio input
Slide the filter band faders down first. Let the external audio input through then, by looping some long triggers and then slide the band faders up slowly to make certain frequency bands resonant or self-oscillate. Self-oscillation can be reached abruptly though which might get loud, so try this at low volumes. The Main Out knob lets you adjust the overall feedback amount."

Subharmonicon Omnibus
Published on May 21, 2020 Morning Strategy
"Collecting 10 of my first patches on the Subharmonicon in an omnibus video. Patch timing is included on screen and below.
Moog Audio was kind enough to deliver a Moog Subharmonicon to me last week. These first patches were my attempt to understand the synth's quirks and special places. Thanks as always to Ableton Echo (delay), Audio Damage Eos2 (reverb) and Klevgrand Grand Finale (master bus) for the support.
I'd intended to pare this down into a shorter video, but ended up including the full compositions for posterity. Follow the on screen cues to skip between patches or put it on in the background and float away.
Yes, it drones (56:34)"
Synthesizers and MIDI: sequencing a live performance without a computer
Published on Feb 28, 2020 Marcus Padrini
"If you follow this channel, you must have seen at least one of my Synth Jams here. They are records of some musical ideas, created and performed with synthesizers, recorded live.
However, there is always a question: how can they be recorded live if you are one and there are 5 or 6 instruments playing at the same time in each jam? The answer is: using MIDI sequencing. Check out the basic tips for integrating synthesizers using MIDI technology without a computer."
TOP GUN 2 Trailer Remix Roland Jupiter 8
Published on Feb 28, 2020 jupiterbyjay
Actual Roland Jupiter-8 in the video. Jupiterbyjay makes a JayP8 Sample Instrument. Some info and an image follow:
"What Makes it Special 🏆
Worlds First JayP8?
We deliver the first JayP8 Sample Instrument for Steinbergs Halion Sonic SE. Halion has its outstanding soundquality as you are familar with this company.
One of a kind
We build this Instrument exactly how we like and didn’t follow any standards. The sounds are done specialy for the Halion engine so the standalone WAV files don’t work exactly the same in another software .
Unique processing
Our Special sampling technic is matchless. Down bellow are „some“ examples of the equipment we used, which is not the only reason for its different character!
15+ Years Experience
Our experience with vintage synths let us know the creamy sound of legends! #RAminimoog"

Note the shade of green for the buttons. Never seen that before. They look original/consistent vs. discolored over time.
