Dimension 🎲 (Elektron Digitone + Particle + Deco // Korg Drumlogue // Sequential Take 5)

video upload by 2-Minute Warning

"This is the last video closing the trilogy featuring the Take 5 and Digitone! [previous videos below this one via this link]

The track begins with a sequence played by the Digitone (through the Particle granular delay which is being blended in from time to time on the intro + Deco tape saturation & doubletracker pedal effect).

Then the analog tracks of the Drumlogue are being unmuted, along with the BASS & LEAD which are being played live on the Take 5.

As often, I'm using only one pattern on the Digitone and one on the Drumlogue (but used a lot of automation, probability etc. to add variations)

Further on I switch to the LOOP mode on the Drumlogue in order to add some real time breaks."

Ekzil - "Orbital Teapot" : Circuit Track / Volca sample / Volca bass

video upload by Geoffroy AULAGNER

"I am proud to present to you my video number 4 of my monthly challenge 😁

Recently I've been having problems with the buttons on my novation circuit 😟.. I sometimes have to press them several times (especially the play button)
Have you ever encountered this problem ?

I didn't use the volca sample here . I decided to force myself to reduce the number of drums (I tend to use too many 😛)

I will be delighted to have your feedback! Especially on mastering. Because I'm not always very good at handling this 🎧 (the mastering of my previous song, Fantasy Dream, is a fail 😢)

The setup:
Novation Circuit Tracks: Drums, bass, pad
Volca Keys: Lead melody
Volca Bass: Second melody
Korg NTS-1: ping-pong reverb, chorus, build up with the noise oscillator"

4/24/24 (YLF 4, Op. 9, no. 2) Roland Jupiter 6 & RE-301 + Akai ME20A + Alesis Midiverb II

video upload by Cfpp0

"The left hand of Frédéric Chopin’s “Nocturne in E-flat major, Op. 9, no. 2” is translated into a sequence by the Akai ME20A MIDI sequence arpeggiator and played back on the Roland Jupiter 6 (cross modulation). The Jupiter 6 audio output goes into the Alesis Midiverb II, with the input overloading. Tape echo from the Roland RE-301 is applied on the Mackie Onyx 1640 mixer."

4/26/24 Chopin’s “Nocturne in E-flat major, Op. 9, no. 2” according to Akai ME20A & Roland Jupiter 6

"YLF plays the left hand of Frédéric Chopin’s 'Nocturne in E-flat major, Op. 9, no. 2' again, but this time as chords, which the Akai ME20A translates into a Bach-icized sequence. The Roland Jupiter 6 is in SOLO mode first, until it is switched to POLY-1 at 1:17, with some wiggling of filter cutoff and resonance, and the sustain and release on envelope 2, throughout the video, particularly towards the end.

(YLF #6, Alesis Midiverb II #46)"

I Saw Tooth

video upload by Kaffimusic

"This is a video I have made for a live music video 'challenge' at the German synth forum sequencer.de. I won with that. But there was nothing to win but experience and honor.
The center of this setup is the MPC One. It plays just midi pattern that I composed beforehand for the GS Music E7, the small Roland and the Novation Peak. The Kurzweil is not controlled, but the E7 runs through the audio ins and is used as a FX processor with delay and reverb for the E7. The PC4 is just played with internal sounds here. Switches and sliders are either set to control internals, the E7 or the fx. I progammed a multi that is able to play the sounds via switch and control the fx as well.
The last pattern is a respectfully stolen melody of Ehsan Gelsi. The whole style of this live sequencing is the technique he shows in his videos."
