"Item comes with original box, deck saver, power adaptor, zip carrying case, and manual. This was a floor model, and the power adaptor shorts out if it’s moved frequently. I had it on a stand in my studio, and never had a problem unless I jiggled the plug."

Fact Live: Paranoid London

FACTmagazine

"The third in our new series of live sessions filmed behind closed doors by Fact at 180 The Strand is a cathartic set of raw acid house and techno from Paranoid London, the hardware-heavy project of Quinn Whalley and Gerardo Delgado.

When Paranoid London first emerged in 2007, their music provided a gritty counterpoint to the European minimal sounds and disco edits that proliferated at the time, and their vinyl-only releases gained them underground success at a time when the format was in decline.

In the 13 years since, the project has been host to a rotating cast of guest vocalists, including A Certain Ratio’s Simon Topping, Arthur Baker, Josh Caffe and the late trans activist and DJ, Bubbles Bubblesynski. On this performance they’re joined by regular collaborator Mutado Pintado with visuals by Bob Jaroc.

Classic drum machines and synths such as the Roland TR-808, TR-909 and SH-101 lie at the heart of their setup, with acid lines provided by the Cyclone Analogic TT-303 Bass Bot. Effects come from a host of cheap Korg Monotron Delay units, which slather vocals and synths in a grimy echo.

Paranoid London’s latest album, 2019’s PL, is available now. You can find the rest of their catalogue, including their ongoing series of edits, at Bandcamp."

Unboxing a Korg Arp 2600 FS (Full Size)

Unboxing my Korg Arp 2600 FS (Full Size), Part One: Unboxing

Voices of Echo

"In this video I'll unbox my new Korg Arp 2600 FS (Full Size) with you in real time. It took a really long time to ship, around 5 months from when I purchased it, but it finally got here! I've split the video into two parts: In part one I get the Korg Arp 2600 FS out of the box and walk you through my initial thoughts. In part two, I've recorded a high quality demo so that you can hear how it sound."

A little jam with my Arp 2600, TT 606, Juno 106, and an MS-1

"Here's a quickly recorded jam with my Arp 2600, TT 606, Juno 106, and and MS-1. Everything runs through my patch bays that you see on my desk. I used an Eventide Eclipse for delays and a cheapo TC Electronic box for its Living Room reverb, which I love. Feel free to ask any questions!"

0-Kick 303 Lockdown

Chris Gilkes

"I attempted to create the kick drum patch shown on https://cdm.link/2020/05/make-a-909-k... but for some reason I couldn’t get the midi b to trigger the env. I ended up using the EON to trigger and it seems to work if anyone else is having issues. I have put a still of the patch at the end of the video if anyone wants it and if anyone one knows why midi b isn’t working (it flashes in time with midi a which I hoped was the correct setting) I would love something in the comments.

Anyway, as the kick sounds pretty damn good I wanted to hear it in context, so I fired up the 303, MD & OP-1 and had a little jam....

Thanks for watching etc.

ACID TAPE

Published on Apr 24, 2020 THE TUESDAY NIGHT MACHINES

"STREAM & DOWNLOAD: https://nightmachines.bandcamp.com/al...

♥ SUPPORT: http://bit.ly/ttnm-support

ACID TAPE provides you with thicc and crunchy analog Acid music, suitable for any situation in which you'd like to indulge in thicc and crunchy analog Acid music.

It is a danceable, high-octane rush of ten (11) vacuum tube burnt, DIY trash punk 303 filter knob twister sessions, spiced up with booming 606 kicks, distorted hi-hats and sprinkled with blood, sweat and tears, from when I accidentally cut myself with the kitchen knife, while cooking my favorite Halloumi Spaghetti recipe. It's basically just crisply pan-fried pieces of Halloumi cheese, green Bell Peppers, Almond stuffed Olives and Capers. Add Tomato sauce, some freshly ground Pepper and voilà! Quick and easy, but it tastes adultly delicious. Just like this ACID TAPE! But this one's for your ears, obviously. Enjoy these Acid Trax! #seopro

Created by The Tuesday Night Machines with two Cyclone Analogic TT-303 Bass Bots and a TT-606 Drum Drone.

On track #10 'Acid Eternal' an AE Modular Synthesizer makes an appearance too.

Track #11 'Monorail Timelapse' was created in Propellerheads ReBirth for iPad several years ago and has been remastered as a digital bonus track for this release.

All tracks performed live and recorded in one take.

Mastered in Steinberg Cubasis 2 in an iPad, with the help of Audio Damage AUv3 Plugins, an analog Klangbau Köln Vacuum Tube Amplifier, a Klangbau Köln Spring Reverb and authentic analog hiss from the TT-606."
