The eight touch keys can be used as a mono keyboard, polyphonic keyboard or an eight-step sequencer. The Quandrantid Swarm has MIDI and CV/Trig connectivity. Its normalized pre-patching allows you start creating immediately, but its semi-modular design allows you to use patch cables to explore the potential of this instrument. "EOwave Germania 241 in action. The Doepfer A-100 system is handling everything else except quantizing done by the FLAME Chord Machine 2. You can hear the VCO with the Germania and without. Germania is pre-VCF and being modulated by a 2nd VCO, both VCOs being sequenced."

Modular Techno Noodle with TD-3MO + Quadrantid Swarm + Palette Case

"Little experimental and improvised techno noodle. Exploring some of the CV i/o on the Behringer TD-3MO with EO Waves Quadrantid Swarm (techno-in-a-box) and a small 62hp modular set up with the Intellijel Palette Case providing the drum sounds. Everything was clocked from the Malekko Varigate 4+ sequencer. Nothing too serious here.

'I had my eye on this one since I saw it in Paul Tas' personal Error Instruments case. While my module was on its way 'home', I saw Mylar Melodies' video using it in a techno set. I was already sold, but wow I did not expect the QS to be that cool. Unfortunately mine came without a spring reverb and I am not sure the Eurorack version includes one. Oh well, nothing a Desmodus Versio can't fix."

"In which I show the possibilities and quirks of the Quandrantid Swarm Synthesizer I was send by Eowave to review in exchange for their Metalik resonator speaker (hence 'paid promotion'). This synth offers a wealth of sound and inspiration in a compact package and has found a place in my heart and rack, in spite of a few things that I, as a member of the club of very big knobs and 50 pound oscillators, have trouble tolerating. Stil, I am happy that I can now finally answer your question "which synth should I buy first" with 'the unpronounceable Swarm thing from France'. "
