Sequential Prophet REV2 patch Inspired by Hania Rani live at Invalides Paris Cercle
video upload by Expectaz
"Sound design on the Sequential Prophet REV2 inspired by Hania Rani. She played a live set for Cercle at Invalides Paris which I think sounds amazing. The sound isn't 100% the same, but the vibe is there I think!
I have a sound expansion for this amazing synth:" [posted here]
APHEX TWIN - Z Twig (#17) (Prophet REV2 Synth Cover)
video upload by nicola neeco
"One of my favorites from the Selected Ambient Works vol.2 album (1994 Warp Records).
For this cover I used the Prophet onboard bbd delay, then I added some reverb (my usual Vintageberb).
The patch it's quite simple: a single oscillator, square wave.
(I made these patch from scratch)
Gear used:

X-Plorations Vol 2 - Sequential Prophet X - Patches 65 to 96 (of 128)
video upload by GEOSynths
"Out Sunday 25th August
So, it's been almost 4 Years since I worked on the Prophet X and then released X-Plorations Vol 1. While it does have some amazing Factory Samples from 8DIO, which i have used, I was a little disappointed in the Synth Samples, so I sampled 14 of my Synths, just the Oscillators wide open over many Octaves and EVERY note.
Of course, the Prophet X has onboard VA Oscillators and when combined with the Samples, you can make the Prophet X sound amazing. As mentioned, for Volume 1 I sampled 14 of my Synths to make 43 Sample Sets, these are the Synths I used.

Prophet X add-on Memorymoog | Download now!
video upload by Espen Kraft
"Prophet X add-on pack with Memorymoog samples and patches.
The Memorymoog is considered to be one of the greatest synths of the 80s. Fat, lush and very powerful. It's also extremely very fragile and expensive.
I've recorded and sampled the very best out of this synth, personally, and made it available for the Prophet X.
The price for this add-on is $15USD (or €15Euros if you're in Europe) and I think this is well worth it.
I will only sell these add-ons (more are on the way) directly through email. My CONTACT email address is this: espenkraft69@gmail.com
If you want to purchase this pack please send me an email and I'll give you instructions on how to order. This has worked great for the previous PX packs.
If you want a bundled (discount) price for multiple packs just let me know.
Included in the download are 36 samples and 35 patches to help you get going and what you hear in the demo video is coming from this pack. All the patches are made from individual samples, but these are NOT multi samples. All the patches are made from time-stretching the samples. I've done it like this to mimic the sound and feel of 80s samplers. Because of this I've also included a written patch sheet where the patches and corresponding samples are detailed with their stretched keys and frequency. That can come in handy if you want to edit the patches.

Synth Stuff Ep. 88 - Sequential Take 5
video upload by tritonrecordings
"It only made sense to feature the Take 5 right after featuring its Oberheim cousin. They are really only related in price and form factor, however. The sound is quite different, and I imagine many people will wonder how they compare. To me, the comparison is just the same as a Prophet 5 and vintage OB: the Sequential sound is thick, almost chocolatey, while Oberheim has an inherent sharpness or brassy character. All synths have some overlap, but that's how I'd describe it. It feels like the Take 5 is a bit too new to call it underrated, but this thing sounds fantastic. Even I ignored it for a long time, mainly because of the name. Seriously! I looked up synonyms for "prophet" and "Druid 5" or "Augur 5" would've been cooler names. I can't explain why, but "Take 5" is lame to me, haha. All in all, this thing has the Sequential/Prophet vibe. That thick and rich character oozes out of this thing, but with enough of its own personality coming through as well. If you want a relatively affordable polysynth that feels and sounds substantial, and like the small form factor, this one might be for you.

VGM #218: Reunion // Final Fantasy VII (Synth Cover)
video upload by Amie Waters
"Someone commented that I should consider covering this deep cut from the Final Fantasy VII OST, and after listening to it I knew I would be covering it at some point. The FFVII soundtrack is just so full of incredible music I doubt I will run out of inspiring tracks from it any time soon. Huge shoutout to the goat, Nobuo Uematsu! This is also my very first fully 4K video and the first video made with my new camera!
Amie Waters uses synthesizers and vibes to create emotive and moving covers from your favorite movies, tv shows and video games. Some of her most well known work was made under her old name, Ace Waters, which includes Covers from Undertale, Zelda, and more. Her music covers a wide range of styles, from ambient mood pieces to progressive synth rock and everything in between."
