Granular Chorus & Deep Reverb Piano Ambient | Trajectory 2026-02-17 by atnr

video upload by atnr

"Ambient Engine (macOS)
https://store.atnr.net/downloads/ambi...

A piece built around piano, synth, and granular-processed chorus textures.

The piano is performed on the YAMAHA CP-88 with deep reverb applied.

On the volca fm2, a synth pad is played and processed with deep reverb through ‪@strymon‬ blueSky.

The chorus samples are imported into Ambient Engine and played back with randomized playback ranges. Modulation is applied to the filter, and additional variation is created using the built-in looper and delay effects."

An ambient session built from street sounds recorded in West Hollywood and a live performance on the ‪@SequentialLLC‬ Prophet-10.

Street sounds captured on an iPhone in West Hollywood were imported into Ambient Engine. Using three sample players, the sounds are played back at random timings and ranges, creating wave-like textures. Over this evolving backdrop, a live Prophet-10 performance is layered.

The Prophet-10 is processed through ‪@strymon‬ blueSky with deep reverb applied."

video upload by atnr

Ambient Engine was featured in this previous video by atnr.

No DAW, no performance, recorded in one take.

This preset uses sine wave samples at C3, C4, C5, and C7.

"What you can do with Ambient Engine

Ambient Engine is designed not just for 'making songs' but as a 'device that continuously generates sound.'

Load samples
Adjust the playback range and density
Add fluctuations with modulation
Record in real time
Even without playing, the sound continues to change autonomously according to the parameter settings.

Import sounds recorded with your smartphone and instantly create your own ambient music."
