"End of the kebab series - in jail with cockroaches :-)

so I made a scenario with the local pet store's Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches shipment escaping into the jail all the sounds including perc are samples of stuff found in a prison cell (bed parts, metal tray or bowls/utensils, and bars of course) and sounds of the hissing cockroaches annoyed and getting squished over and over - the synth part is a cheat and is supposed to be a high human voice or something 😛 enjoy"

"Sorry I had a camera fixed focus issue and it's a bit fuzzy - no time to re-make the jam...

Unsure of what to remix, I grabbed some looper stems from my "all Osmose" Noisevember 22 video to mix live on Maschine+ and also added some other live bits:

- GForce Axxess synth
- Tenori-on factory drum kit in layer 16 live mode

It ran a bit long as I got carried away, but it generally repeats around 6:20...
The Axxess patch gives it a Vangelis vibe 🙂"

"My first attempt was more literal, based on the sounds of stuff in the painting and the actual notes depicted in the painting, but it didn't work out.

This one is more of a period jam with acoustic instrument samples: hand perc, upright bass, harpsichord, flute, and strings. I added some arps and FX for more pizzazz. :-)"

Plantwave connected to a sprig of St. John's Wort in medium light. I tried to modulate the plant response with red and white lights (to stimulate photosynthesis further) - not much reaction this time.

See my older video on Plantwave where I demo white, red, and UV pocket lights to change the plant response and the synth modulation follows - sort of like a biological D-beam control. :-) [posted here]

I think the Plantwave app preset wasn't set to modulate the sounds the same way my Roland MC-101 was in the older video. Next time I will do a demo of Plantwave connected via MIDI to a hardware synth."

"I forgot to upload this last night - another one coming later tonight.

I haven't used the mighty Neuron VS in a while. I still need to make more custom 'neural' patch models (sounds) for it.

I would love to get the Neuron keyboard, but it's rare and very expensive but looks very cool. The keyboard version has more complete software (including stick recording) and the equivalent of 3 of these Nuke controllers plus more controls onboard.
It also outputs 5.1 surround mixes if you need it.
Axel Hartmann is the man. :-)"

that sound pretty legitimate when played a certain way on the pads, especially the guitars with some added live 'string bending' with the M+ pitch ribbon - some luck there for sure. :-) "
